Infuriatingly unprofessional and incompetent. I work out of state 4 out of 5 days and rely on delivery to get my errands done. A delivery attempt happened while I was away so I went online and scheduled for redelivery on a day I will be home, with explicit instructions to ring the doorbell. The day came and went while I stayed at home all day waiting for the package. No ring, no package, and no attempted delivery notice. Trying to be patient, I again scheduled for redelivery on another day Ill be available. Again I waited all day, only to discover an attempted delivery notice in my mailbox at the end of the day despite being home. Next day, I had to take time away from work to go to this office location to retrieve my package. The woman at the front desk was helpful and went to find a manager for me to speak to about my delivery problems. A "manager" showed up and I recounted my issue to her. She proceeded to make excuses as to why the package was not delivered stating it was heavy. I asked, "So you wont deliver if the package is heavy?" Her: Well, it says here delivery was attempted on your scheduled date. Me: I was home all day. My doorbell was never rung. Her: Its your word against my delivery guy. Me: Why would I lie about this?! At this point she gets into an aggressive, argumentative tone. Her: Im not saying youre lying, but I havent spoken to my delivery guy to get his side of the story. What do you want?! Me: I want my packages delivered. I want disciplinary action if people dont do their jobs! She raised her eyebrows at me and scoffed, "Really?! Really?! You want disciplinary action?! Im going to go get the manager" and storms off. Fortunately, the actual manager was much more understanding and at least outwardly admitted the delivery guy did not follow instructions and said she will look into the problem. I even told her that Im willing to carry the package myself if only someone would ring my doorbell. She told me it was not my job to do that and apologized for the trouble. As for the first "manager", her behavior and idea of work ethics was atrocious. All the terrible reviews are accurate and true. Who knows if anything will improve.

This post office services (and I use the term "services" lightly here) our grant park home address. For the last 2+ years at least they have lost packages that are sent through here as well as NOT DELIVERING MAIL to our home address! They on average miss at least one(1) day a week. USPS packages constantly get marked as having attempted a delivery when there has been no slip left AND no attempt to deliver. When they do actually deliver a USPS package we have to scour the neighbors houses asking if they have it because 30% of the time the drop it at a similar street number one the WRONG street! Absolutely horrible customer service at the desk as well. Non curious and their general demeanor is that they are actually doing you a huge favor just coming up form the back room to help you out. Steer clearly away from this branch

Pathetic. You know how it is a basic function of USPS to attempt to deliver your packages? Yeah, instead, this particular location leaves a "sorry, we missed you slip," despite not even making an attempt to deliver so you have to travel there to pick it up. This has happened to me 6 times over the last 4 months. I witnessed this happen last month. Yes, I watched them do this because I couldnt believe how lazy human beings could be. Call the 1-800 number, and they were confused as to why they have been doing this because it is still, a basic function of their job description. The only basic function of what makes them USPS. Unfortunately, Ive had to go get a private box at a UPS so that I can get the basic service of a mail provider.

This office has failed delivery of packages to my home on multiple occasions. Some examples, they lost my W2, my Airline tickets, vehicle tag and Amazon order. Tracking numbers say delivered, left at front door or left with resident, etc. I was home all day waiting but no such delivery was made here. Now this has happend again, twice today, one at 2:07pm and another 7:33pm, tracking says delivered yet here I am still without my packages. Is USPS this incompetent? Knock on wood Ive never had this problem with UPS or FedEx. USPS track record however is dismal and they seem to not care. This does not go unnoticed!

You would think from all the reviews, this office would have corrected their mistakes and replaced the employees who have either stolen or misplaced the items that they claim have been delivered to the right address. Just like the other unfortunate customers, my package said it was delivered to my apartment mail box that can only be opened with a key, however I never received it. Never had this issue before. USPS always seems to mess things up. If you are not capable of doing your job right after several mishaps, you should probably consider finding a new job in a different field.

Lets start with the outside, its filthy and went unmoved all summer, and was mowed once. If you have any special needs that they are responsible for forget it being done. From upper mgmt down to workers this is a prime example of how NOT to run a business. The people are average postal fare, but ther is a total lack of professionalism. If you have any special needs in the shipping Dept. I highly recommend that you use Fed Ex, or UPS. If I could choose to use another provider I think I as well as my 15 neighbors would be passing out pink slips......fail.

9 out of 10 times they say the delivery was made so they dont get in trouble or they "attempt to deliver it" which really means they put a sticker on the door without knocking. At my office they dont even try opening the main door, the mailman just puts a sticker up so he doesnt have to talk to anyone. I have complained through usps at least 3 times now about this location, but they have done nothing. Literally nothing. I have never had a single issue with my mail service until this location was involved and it is infuriating.

AWFUL! The good reviews on here I suspect are by the people working here, not customers. I sent an express mail from Roswell. It ended up at this location. There was NO attempt at delivery according to USPS on-lines number. According to on-line info, it should have been returned to me in 5 days. Its been 7 and its still at this location. I will have to drive to pick it up. That is if they can find it. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. Definitely will only use UPS or FedX in the future.

This post office is horrible. Ive sent gift cards to friends and Ive had family members send me giftcards and they go missing at this post office. My packages are being stolen from the staff at this post office and there should be an investigation into theft. I had a client overnight documents to me with a guarantee delivery of 10:30 AM however the package didnt arrive till 6:00 pm. This is totally unacceptable.

Awful! We dont receive any of our mail over a week. It has been going on and off for over 2~3 month by now. We personally went up there to complaint. But no improvement. I filed complaint online. Station manager of Proyer street, had contacted me. She apologized "inconvenience", but nothing has gotten better at all. I havent see our mail for almost 10 days. All we got were two small percels.
