HORRIBLE!! This location needs to be shut down. I had a package scheduled for delivery for Saturday Oct 1st "by the end of the day". I live in a locked building so I requested that the carrier left my package at the front door. I wasted my ENTIRE Saturday at home so I could get my package. Mail runs around 5PM. I never receive my package. 6PM comes around and at this point Im livid. I call USPS and was told that if mail already ran I probably wont get my package until Monday and because the tracking information is scanned by a computer and not a person theres a chance my package was never even really out for delivery. Umm....seriously?!! A complaint was put in. Then at 7:16PM the tracking information updates saying they tried to deliver but the mail receptacle was blocked. Well thats funny because my package was not going in a "mail receptacle" it was supposed to be left at the front door. What I believe happened is the unprofessional carrier forgot my package on his truck and forgot to deliver it and then when he got back to the station an saw my package sitting there he came up with a lie to try and cover his butt. So ridiculous! I put another complaint in about that. And to make matters worse, its Monday and USPS still has not updated my tracking information. I requested to pick up my package because I REFUSE to deal with that again and I have not received any information on when I can get my package or even WHERE to pick it up!! The only reason I know its the Norwood location is because of the zip code on my tracking information. I cant believe how unprofessional they are! If I could give NO stars I would! From now on I will pay EXTRA in order to never have to get a package by UPS or USPS because this is not the first time Ive dealt with ridiculousness from them. ONLY GO FEDEX!!!!!!

Deserves no stars regarding package delivery. When I get an email notice saying that a package WILL BE delivered to me on a certain date by 8:00pm, more times than not, I will get an email notice saying that the package WAS DELIVERED at 8:03pm or some other time around the time by which the original notification said it would be delivered. And of course nothing was delivered - Im waiting in my LR chair which is right by the door and no one attempted to deliver anything and there is never any package in my mailbox. This has happened often because I order lots of stuff online and I cringe when the vendor says they deliver via USPS. I think the mailperson just stops working early and waits to send the PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED notices on the way or at home (or at a restaurant, or...). BTW, the package(s) are usually delivered the next day as if nothing has happened. After Im about to have a heart attack thinking that someone else has gotten my package(s)!

I defy anyone to find any USPO anywhere with slower or more apathetic staff. The people must commute by ambulance, and they should be in wheelchairs. One must kick the skeletons aside to get to the counter, if one lives long enough and still has the strength. (Only slightly better is the Hyde Park office, you could drive to Dalton Street instead and be finished quicker.) The most popular forms are, of course, not stocked in their displays. If you want a RRR form for example, you must stand in line to get it, wait for Ethel to shuffle to the back and find the supply (and come back with 1 and none for the display, or for her), then fill it out, then stand in line to post it, all the while enduring the deafening clicking of prospective clients eye rolls. In contrast, the postal carriers serving Norwood do a fantastic job, thats no kidding.

Had a mishap with a neclace off etsy. I called a half hour before closing and a wonderful man named Sam was very patient and kind. He helped me find my package right away with minimal waiting time. They offered to stay open for an extra 5 mins so I could pick it up immediately but I told them to just bring it the next day. No one wants to stay late at work for sure! They have families and pets too! I felt bad calling late. Due to the huge volumes of mail and orders they get, everyone is bound to have a problem now and then. Dont sweat it! These guys are aweome people and will totally work with you. Keep up the good work! I have no trepidation about calling again in the future.

This postal service does not care about someones packages, they will leave them on the sidewalk if they had to be somewhere after work!! Then you call an complain, they always have a backup. They do not care how much you spend for the package or that it may contain contents for your very sick child, its never their fault!!! They want you to come in and sign some papers after we already have went through this 6 times before!!! The ones there being rude, you do not know who you are being rude to, so you need to start being more kind!!! Terrible office with terrible service

Worst post office ever!! My package arrived at their facility and I called them right before they opened LITERALLY!!! I told them to hold my package that Ill come pick it up. I got there 3 hours later before I called. One customer service rep, with a long line. By the time I got my turn to receive my package :) ITS NOT THERE!! Its out with the carrier. Horrible service and awful communication skills. Then there was an older guy there talking to me about his mail man never deliver their mail. That they would receive mail 3 days out of a week. RIDICULOUS!!

Very poor mail-hold administration. Sometimes they hold it, sometimes they dont. The USPS website indicates one can set up mail hold online for this branch, but when I tried the online option, it did not work. When I went in to the Norwood branch to let them know, they shrugged it off and said that feature doesnt work for their branch, and gave me the yellow "stop mail" card to fill out for next time. But even that does not consistently work either.

Called their direct line regarding a package, spoke to a pleasant lady who was very helpful in letting me know why it wasnt delivered. (Tracking said the receptacle was blocked, it turned out the sender hadnt paid the full cost of the shipment and I had to pay a few dollars to pick it up). When I came in to pick up my package hours later, she remembered me from the phone call and had my package ready. Very good customer service.
