I had some business checks that needed to go out tonight (Tuesday) in order to be delivered on Friday. So, after working a twelve hour day, I drove them to the main US Post Office on Dalton Ave. in Cincinnati, OH. The last pickup at this location is 9:00 PM. But, tonight the postal worker tasked with the 9:00 PM pickup was early. He had all the boxes emptied by 8:57 PM; the time that I arrived. When I drove up, I asked if all the mail boxes had already been emptied? His response was: "Just put it (my hand full of envelopes) in the box and Ill get it." As he had not answered my question, I asked again. Again, he stated: "Just put it in the box and Ill get it." So, I did as instructed. But, suspecting that he was just blowing me off, I pulled around to the parking lot and waited to see if he would actually "get it." In fact, after sorting some mail behind the drop boxes for a couple of minutes, and closing the door on the last drop box, he pushed his cart away at 9:02 PM. Not only did he not pick up my outgoing mail, he did not pick up mail that had been deposited by at least two others prior to the 9:00 PM cutoff. Also, as he pushed his cart away from the drop boxes, he refused to accept a hand full of mail from a postal patron who was driving up when he was about thirty feet away from the boxes. I watched as this US Postal Service employee argued with the customer for about thirty seconds as he flatly refused to accept his mail. Finally, this example of US Postal Service efficiency stopped at the corner and watched the fireworks display (courtesy of the one year anniversary of Horseshoe Casino) for almost two minutes prior to continuing with his duties. With customer service like this, its no wonder theyre going out of business!

No se que pensar en este momento, acabo de comprar un producto por eBay y se supone que USPS debería de enviarlo al centro de envíos globales de eBay, sin embargo, ya lleva en cuatro días en Cincinnati y de ahí no se ha movido, en la pagina de rastreo dice que llegaría a su destino el 5 de Junio, pero ya es 7 y aún no llega...

This hub is absolutely ridiculous I have at least 10 packages go through this facility in the last 6 months and just sit there . Who ever is in charge needs to be fired the service is atrocious . Currently have a package that has been sent to Dayton now is back in this hub , and this is not the first time . They have also lost a priority package for 2 weeks on a 2 day guarantee delivery only to deliver it 3 weeks later . What a JOKE!.!.!.!

I luv this post office, there are handfuls closer to me than this one. But, the staff here are super friendly, my packages arrive to my clients at lightning speed, and the wait times are very reasonable if there is any at all. I also like the drive through mail drop option. I think everyone should go there - even if it means i have to wait a tad longer ;-)

This is the main branch of the US Post Office in Cincinnati and is a very handy place when one needs to mail something in a hurry. They have pick up until 9PM and a friendly staff. The building is also an amazing piece of architecture and is worth a look for the curious. This isnt your average Post Office location!

Horrible, horrible.My son send me a priority letter every month from Mckinney Tx. to Cincinnati,Oh. He pays $6 and they have lost 5 out of 6 of them and I have to get the postal service involved in trying to find them. They act like it is my fault they lost them I am so tired of there incomptency/

I mailed my boyfriend a Valentines Day card on 2/13/15, from 2155 W. 8th Street, which is about a mile from its destination-- 2801 Marshall Ave. He did not receive the card until 2/23! NINE DAYS LATER! And the card was bent. It was a normal-size card, nothing unusual about it, regular postage.

Had a package ordered come out of Dayton, OH....accepted 12:30pm departed for Cincinnati ,OH 5:00pm, arrived on next day 7:30......hasnt moved in 3 days from Cincinnati ,OH facility.....package WAS supposed to arrive IN 3 days!?!? And now here we going on a weekend......

Every time i have mail go through this hub it is lost or takes weeks to arrive. I wish the government would just close the post office down and use private companies.
