Customer service is nonexistent at this place. I ordered a small item from Italy on 8/25 and paid $58.13 for Priority Mail Express International. It has been sitting in New York since 9/8 (2 weeks and counting), and Im pretty sure its not stuck in customs because the necessary paperwork was included AND the tracking info says it was processed through the NY ISC and is currently at a regional facility in NY. Ive tried multiple times to get help from ANYONE at the USPS, but its pointless. You cant call USPS customer service (wait time is never less than 45 minutes) and all cases/inquiries about the package get directed to this office, which employs the rudest and most helpless employees I have ever encountered. Take this last example: Felecia, the SUPERVISOR of this place, responded very nicely and apologetically to the second case I filed regarding this item and said she would have a response the next day. 24 hours go by, and then 48 hours go by, and I still dont hear anything. So, I call the number she gave me and a "Ms. Collins" answers instead and tells me that Felecia left for a 2-week-long vacation the day before and didnt pass any info along! Ms. Collins is nice enough at first, but gets an attitude with me when I call a 2nd time to follow up and she says shes "trying to go to lunch." Stellar job, guys. Shining example of the extreme incompetence of our government agencies.

This is my first Google review ever and Im doing it because of how awful this post office branch is. This has been my local post office for years and staff has remained the same and their poor attitude and lack of pride in their job worsens with every visit. Anytime I receive a signature slip to pick up a package I have to travel to this horrible place. Physically the office is bleak and depressing. No one seems to ever sweep the floors, the windows are smeared, the edges and corners of everything look busted and not cared for. There is usually nobody at the front registers and there is usually always a line of frustrated people waiting. There are however the a gaggle of middleaged post office workers audibly talking about their personal lives in the rear of branch and putting next to no effort in their jobs or helping people. They simply dont care. Ive literally waited at this place to pick up a single item on average 45 mins every time, sometimes when I can see my package just sitting on a shelf in the back while one of the workers supposedly helping me wanders around like its their first day on the job. This has happened to me 2 dozen times and to many other people. People in line regularly walk out of this place because of the employees. All the employees at this branch should be fired and new people brought in. This branch is a disgrace to the United States Post Office.

This is "my post office" for the past year and has to be the single worst location I have ever had to deal with in my life. The "head clerk" Mr. G. Jefferson (uploaded a picture of him to google) attempts to make dealings here even more difficult and I am unsure what his issue is with me...or white people...or who knows, but every single time I am forced to go to the counter and deal with him, he seems to delight in making my life a living hell, plus he refuses to serve me as a customer. Just now I had to cash a U.S. Postal money order for $100.00 and waited 40 minutes because they supposedly didnt have it on hand?? When I asked to speak to his supervisor he flat out said "no!" And again it happened, same scenario, except this time when I asked to speak to a mngr/supv, he contacted the police to have me to leave!? Im not the first to mention this employee specifically in a review, and Im sure I wont be the last as long as he is allowed to treat customers this way. This would be a one star review but the new young lady who seems to do all work around there and is always pleasant and helpful gets a star all her own.

I do a lot of business with this post office for my job and they have always been helpful. Like any place they can sometimes act a bit deadpan but when you need to explain the same thing over and over to every single person about why their credit card needs to be SIGNED, not "See ID"; when every customer wants something but doesnt want to PAY FOR IT (tape) you can imagine how that would impact you. I am not one of the entitled people that want something for nothing, I am not someone who "is so smart!" by not signing my credit cards. I am not someone who runs into the post office unprepared and then gets mad at someone for my own acts so I have never had an issue. A lot of peoples problems with this post office are created by the person themselves and its their personal issue, not the post office. Everyone who works here is doing a great job, keep it up. Everyone who has a problem with this place, take some damned personal responsibility.

Holy rude staff, Batman. Maybe its just the time of day I have to go but EVERY single time ive been in there in the early evening, most of the staff is so unfriendly and grumpy - its a day ruiner to have to go in there. One man is so grumpy I will pretend not to be ready yet so I can wait for a spot to open and get the nicer older lady to help me instead. Unfortunately I felt his wrath today when I had no other option but to have him help me and he made me so angry, Im writing this. (Thats what we do I suppose) That signed credit card thing is a big deal, ive learned. BIG deal. In short: The Older lady- Awesome. The Tall man in his 40s - Hates his job.

This is the most inefficient and slow post office ever. I come here often because it is on my way home from work, but thats the only reason. Whenever theres only a few people in line and one person working the window, they still take forever. And I know sometimes it takes time for their machines to print labels and whatnot, but thats not the issue: its the workers moving slow as molasses. If theres a long line and two people working, just forget about it. You would think theyd move quickly when theres a line, but instead the workers just yap away and giggle with customers instead of actually moving people along.

Worst service!!! They are not going to help you! They will charge for everything! My shipping was only 4 dollar and I paid 2 dollar for a package and they didnt have tape, so the guy suggest that I need to pay for tape which was 4 dollars! I am never going back to this place!

This Post Office is THE BEST! The lines are not long and therere always more than one customer service rep on duty. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful! I go out of my way to use this Post Office rather than several of the others in the area. Great Job people!

Terrible! Helpful to certain people, not all customers. Inconsiderate and slow. Worst 20 minutes of my life!! All I needed was two stamps, thats all. Twenty minutes later, Lydell gave me an unnecessary attitude like I gaf. Never again
