Deserves negative stars! THIS POST OFFICE IS RUN A WICKED, EVIL, RUDE, DEMEANING, BELLIGERENT WOMAN! I called to POST MASTER BRENDA that my mail wasnt being delivered. She said she would get a hold of the carrier and figure out the problem. I was told that my boxes were blocked and the mail truck couldnt get to my mailbox. I told the postmaster(term used lightly) I park my car in front of my house and leave the mail carrier plenty of room and she insisted that her mail carrier has pictures to prove otherwise. I asked what happens to my mail when the it doesnt get delivered, she said they hold on to it and then return to sender. I was never informed of this problem, I had to call and find out. Really? Wow. Then to make it all better, I asked to speak to her supervisor or who they were, she said she didnt have one. I asked who runs the place then and she said she does. I told her she does a terrible job she cant inform residents why their mail cant be delivered. Then she told me I was a horrible customer and hung up. Our tax dollars working for us. BRAVO!! Come to find out, I am not the only one in my neighborhood who had this problem with POST MASTER BRENDA!

This is the worst post office Ive ever had to deal with, and Ive lived in a lot of places. It took 4 months of complaints to get the carrier to stop putting my neighbors mail in my mailbox. The neighbor is the last house on the block, and I guess he didnt want to walk those last 10 feet. That was only resolved after making a complaint at the web site. Theyve put my mail on hold without my consent, I get late mail (not late by hours, late by weeks), damaged mail, and the people in the office are a customer service nightmare, with the exception of the one older gentleman with the darkish hair and a mustache. Hes not the quickest but at the very least hes always been polite. Everyone else is rude and unhelpful. I had to talk to 4 different people before they could even ascertain that there WAS a hold on my mail. I hope someone who oversees the postal system reads these. The Middletown Post Office needs to be completely restaffed with competent, helpful, employees.

This post office is the worst, suppose to have a very small package delivered yesterday, got another package i was not even expecting, the one i was waiting for never came, then later they claim they tried to deliver and left a notice! Very untrue, no notice, no package, and i do not have to sign for it either. This is far from the first time this has happened. Three days ago the post girl through my stuff on my front porch where everyone could see it and walk up and take it. I have watched the mail person walk right by my house when i had mail out on my mail box. I have been dealing with this stuff for 10 years, never changes. I also have cameras watching my house, so i know when someone has been to my door or knocked. Im sure its the mail person not doing there job, so they mark it as attempted delivery to cover there own ass.

I never take the time to write reviews but feel compelled to do so this time. On five occasions over the last three months I have been informed by county agencies and/or vendors that notices were left at my residence by my mail carrier. I run a business from my home and scrutinize all of my mail carefully. Not once did I receive the notices that the post office reported was left at my residence. The notices that I did not receive had the potential to cost me many thousands of dollars. Only by "dumb luck" was I able to avoid these losses. The fifth "phantom" notice was supposedly left at my home yesterday afternoon. I have zero confidence that my carrier will do what is required of him. As much as I hate the idea, I may have to establish a post office box for my business mail. What a shame!

Wow! It says they open at 8:30 a.m. and I called 3 times before someone picked up. Whoever did was obviously disgruntled with the fact that she had to answer the phone. I had two packages that were listed as having been delivered Saturday and when I told the lady who answered the phone that I needed to see if I had a package there she was absolutely hateful and rude. I couldnt believe that someone who works with people would behave like that. Who is in charge here? Ive been in customer service for 10 years... I would never talk to people like that or tolerate that kind of behavior from employees. Its absolutely embarrassing. Its a sad day when even the government sanctioned agencies in this town cant manage to hold employees accountable for basic customer service skills or lack thereof.

On the phone I always receive decent, friendly help..... but when I go in I feel like they could care less about their customers. Last time I went in I wasnt impressed one bit! There were only about 5 people in line with what seemed to be small requests/services needed and all I needed was a stamped envelope! After waiting 30 minutes I finally got my stamped envelope with what seemed a very rude customer service guy. If the guy hates his job so much, he should find a new one... instead of making their customers feel awful when going into this post office. I avoid going into this post office now and dont mind waiting to mail my mail and getting supplies i need from a neighboring post office when im close by. Middletown post office... a smile and a friendly hello goes a LONG WAY.

I constantly have problems with my mail getting delivered. I have been made to the post office Several times but they do nothing and act like they do not contact Care. The mail man delivers our mail one to two days a week if he feels like stopping his truck and getting out. When he does decide to deliver he never shows up until 6 or 7. My daughter had a package to be delivered we were here all day yesterday and today. The mail man just came after 6 p.m. But had no po package so we looked it up. He claimed he tried to deliver it at 2:37 p.m. and left a delivery notice. He did neither and how is that possible if he just now got here after 6. What is really going on over here.

Have to agree this post office is the WORST Ive dealt with, including major cities and tiny towns in several states. There is always a long line, always a clerk or two on break with the rest moving slowly and acting like they just dont care. Now they blocked the main entrance from the major thoroughfare that fronts the post office, and one has to go around the block and in a side entrance! Also, they have screwed up my mail delivery, my mothers and several other friends Ive talked with. Im not sure why this particular post office is so bad compared to the average post office, but it has been for many years.

Called the office at 450pm to see if theit lobby was open after hours so I could pick up some large flat rate boxes. Lady was cordial on phone since it was close to 5pm. Said the lobby was open and FRBS WERE available. Went out of my way, past my house.. (did I say I am from out of town?) Found the office, only to find EMPTY SHELVES where the flat rate boxes should have been. You would THING she would have checked to see if they were stocked up, since she knew someone would be coming. No customer service.
