I know that companies will stick up for their employees but they should also be mindful of hiring Competent and Customer Service oriented individuals especially if they place them in an "managerial" title. I suggest sending Natalie to training for Customer Service or maybe on the system again since it was hard for her to pull up my information. The appalling customer service and horrific management at clubs can cost clubs of customers. While I understand her sticking by her stance to not scan him in using his cell phone, her approached was unacceptable as an employee and representative of the club. Her reasoning was irrational and rude. What this tells me is that we dont care about you, your needs, and we dont think its important enough to find a better solution and youre just a number. And Im pretty sure losing 3 customers is not a big deal, there are people joining daily, but that does make a difference especially when part of Marketing for a company is spreading the good word and I have nothing but bad things to say about this L.A. Fitness. Quality customer service was a major issue here. After getting home I called and spoke to another manager at another location and after explaining the story to him, he read the notes she wrote on my file, he stated that yes, thats not a reason to revoke someones membership and sounds like she was in her feelings. For years, Ive enjoyed coming here but this has let me down. I cannot stress enough that LA Fitness should consider sending her to school or she needs to take a break because she seemed very worked up and unhappy with her work. And yes, leaving yesterday my son was very upset and felt like he was discriminated especially by a black woman. Im pretty sure if it was a white teenager she would have scanned him in and explained to him that that is no longer accepted and he would have to download the app etc. This would have been the "best" possible solution especially if his picture was on file. If all 3 of our memberships are revoked, I would like (1) all three first and last month refund for service, (2) enrollment fees refunded for all 3 accounts, and (3) gas money for driving to this location and being turned away.

This gyms associates push off guest passes as a perk for membership. My fiancee and I joined almost 6 months ago and were told during the sign up that we could bring in the youth to work out at the gym. I brought in my visiting neice and nephew one morning to introduce them to a yoga-pilates class that I took that aids in my pregnancy. The associate (Monique)at the front desk told me that they could not come in because they were not 18 yrs of age and needed an I.D. My nephew was 18 but my neice was 14. I told her that I am her guardian and she would go in the yoga class with me but she refused. When I spoke to the manager (Malachi) who answered his cell phone during my calm complaint (rude) and he blankly said that was policy and he would talk to all associates so they would communicate better the guest passes. No apology for being inconvienced, no accommodation for my family, nothing. I felt like my membership meant nothing. I left disappointed and unsatisfied with the customer service along with my neice and nephew who never got to take the class. Since my fiancee and I were only using the memberships these months and months ahead until my 3rd trimester for yoga; we terminated our membership and will take our business to a gym that does not lie to get members to join and display customer service and empathy.

Went up to the club on an afternoon when they werent busy to get acquainted with the club and after a brief tour I was told I should arrange an assessment with Will Freeman. We set the appointment for Wednesday at 7:00. I work in the Perimeter area and got home, changed and got to the club before my appointment. No Will. He had left. No one else could help me. I left my name and number sure that I would get a call first thing that next day. Nothing. I called that afternoon and spoke with Karen, a member services rep, even though I asked for a manager. I told her what happened and she said Will was there and he would call me. It is Saturday morning and no call. LA Fitness makes it difficult to find any one in charge who can help you. Apparently their corporate office/customer service line is no better. How does a corporation become so bloated and out of control and out of touch that no on is accountable for the simplest things?

The weights are a mess, I go 1st thing in the morning & the weights are NEVER where they are supposed to be. They are scattered all over the floor, Im talking about dumbbells, barbells & almost every machine still has weights on them that were not removed. I dont know if its the closing people or the opening peoples job to make sure the area is neat but someone should pay better attention to detail. I spent 5-10 minutes this morning looking for specific dumbbells & taking weights off machines and stepping over barbells just laying in the middle of the floor very annoying!

This is by far the best LA Fitness I have seen. There are televisions with multiple stations on almost every piece of cardio equipment. I was able to hook up my iPhone and watch Netflix on the treadmills… it definitely made running more enjoyable! I would recommend anyone in the Lilburn/ Stone Mountain area join this LAF. The only problem I ever had was that classes would get cancelled but the participants wouldnt know about it till 10 minutes after the class was scheduled to start. Not a huge inconvenience, but still a bummer. I would go out of my way to go to this gym!

I go at the break of dawn and take fitness classes and sometimes spinning. No time to notice the decor. But the trainer in the classes is awesome, I enjoy going except the pain from reps that I woulndnt do without the guidance and support of the class. The machines all look to be in good condition. Raquetball area looks very nice. The pool area is kinda dark, so Im skeptical, but I intend to use it someday. I joined for a great price, so Im not complaining. My experience has been good and totally meets my needs so far.

I love this location, its close to my home and I the equipment is all in very great condition. The janitorial staff is exceptional with thier friendly personalities and great work ethic. The main staff are always there to help whether it be to answer questions, help you train, instruct awesome classes, or give you some advice on what works and what doesnt in the world of fitness. Thier smoothies are also great! I love the privacy and peace of mind I get when I go to this gym.

Me gusta dónde está ubicado, la mayoría del tiempo no hay mucha gente y eso me gusta, la verdad se preocupan muy bien del aseo, pero vi como 2 o 3 máquinas que estaban fuera de uso; en general a mi me gusta ir ahí
