I had the great pleasure to work with Sensei Scott at a seminar this past weekend at my home school in Lawrenceburg. From start to finish it was a great experience. He broke down the techniques piece by piece in an understandable way. The techniques were applicable and worth each rep of practice. He is a great teacher and practitioner of the art. On top of that he was enjoyable to be around and really put us through a good workout. I am native to Corbin and when I visit home I will ABSOLUTELY be stopping by to roll. Corbin Martial Arts is a great place to train, learn, and grow in multiple forms of martial arts. Not only is Scott a knowledgable fantastic guy, the other instructors and students are just as great. You become like family here. I started just a few days a week practicing BJJ but it has evolved into a family sport involving my young daughters. Great coaching staff and training atmosphere. Wonderful kids classes, cutting edge training programs involving jiu-jitsu & judo classes that mix submission grappling with cardio respitory endurance, perfect fit if you wanna train mixed martial arts or just shed that pesky 20lbs youve been trying to lose. Excellent school for a begginer all the way to the highest levels of martial arts evolution. Defiinitley one of the best martial arts gym in the state.

Id highly recommend anyone who is serious about getting in shape, learning self-defense or competition in jiu-jitsu or judo to look into Corbin Martial Arts. Scott Hope has been involved in martial arts his whole life and is a guy who has lived what hes teaching. Hes a great teacher and there are plenty of people there to train with. There are no egos here-everyone is focused on getting better and helping their fellow teammate get better.
