I went here for a $40 high mileage oil change and found out after my oil change that both my bad tires have nails in it and are not patchable as they too close to side wall, so I need 2 tires a alignment and lower oil pan is leaking and my powersteering oil is contaminated had a estimate for $800 for repair. I then decided to see Chuck and Gary at Kuffman tire Johnscreek Ga Chuck stated the tires are not worn and have good tread and the 2 nails on the back tires one on each side are repairable, which he did for free!! Also the oil leak on the lower pan he told me it is nearly leaking and not to worry about it for 1 year until it gets worse and is expected for car with 125k. I then went to my mechanic is Alpharetta Auto service unlimited he sprayed the lower oil pan with brake fluid to clean it and noticed the oil is nearly speaping and told me not to worry about it for a year until it gets worse and just to monitor the oil level every 2 weeks. My mechanic told me powersteering fluid contamination is just a fancy word for its dirty, Pepboys wanted $60 to change it Autoservice unlimited done it for $40. I understand every shop has there own professional opinion but I am sold glad I went to the people I know and trust and gave been doing business for many years, sometimes its better to be inconvienced than be looking for convenice

Went there in December because it was close to my house but This place has the worst customer service. I paid over $1700 for tires and they told me that I needed an alignment. Told him to go ahead. Later that night they told me they COULDNT FIGURE OUT how to align my car so they said they just put tires on. When driving home I had to turn the wheel about a quarter turn to the left to keep the car straight. And all kinds of Warning lights came on driving home. The car was driving fine aside from the tires when I took it in. They denied touching the alignment. They did something and Made the car worse. Took it to the dealer and the dealer noted fresh wrench marks where someone attempted an alignment but "botched it". And the dealer ended up fixing the issue. Went back due to a nail in the tire which would be covered under road hazard. They said they can see me in an hour when I tried to schedule to come back later they said they couldnt guarantee being seen when there was no one in the waiting room. He told me the next appointment would be 3-4 days out, just to patch a tire. Needless to say when they have to do something without charging the customer they dont care about the customer. They would rather have us driving around with a flat tire. Never going there again.

I have been using Pep Boys on all my vehicles for many years and have been so happy with my experience. My vehicle was having horrible shaking and I needed to get it in to the nearest pep boys just in case it was something serious. The assistant manager called me to let me know I had about $1300 dollars of work that needed to be done to stop the shaking. Finding that odd I texted a manager at one of the pep boys on Alpharetta Highway who I worked with very closely over the last couple years to see what his thoughts were and his response was NO Way will that cost you that much to fix the shaking. He said pick your car up and bring it to my shop and I will charge you appropriately. Now I am out $100 and couldve been worse $1300 for problems that were not even related to my engine problems. This location is not trustworthy and not an honest mechanic shop!

If I can put 0 for the rating, I would definitely do that. I bring my car to the store for the regular oil change, and the manager try to sell me the synthetic oil change even my car is just 40K miles, and said the regular one is not available to my car. Obviously I denied for that and just do the regular one. However, this is not the bad part. One week after, I noticed there is oil leak under my car, so I bring my car to the my own garage, ramp it up, and found out the oil filter is very loosely installed, and that is leaking the oil, after I tight it up, the issue fixed. I cant believe a professional auto store doesnt tight up the oil filter when they do the service, and will this story to all my friend and avoid same thing happening to their car.

Wanted 4 brand new Cooper tires. I called several places like NTB, Kaufman, Nissan, etc. Even though I passed several other locations much closer to my home, I ended up coming to this Pep Boys for several reasons. 1) Leigh Ann was very knowledgable and patient when I asked, what seems like, at least a million of questions. I even called back once I narrowed my choice down to 2 different places. 2) Leigh Ann made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel like she was trying to sell me something I didnt need or want. 3) This place is clean and the staff is friendly & welcoming. Prior to this visit, my vehicle has only gone to the dealer! This Pep Boys location is new and I will be bringing my vehicle to this location for all future needs.

I was immediately greeted although the manager was busy with another customer. I had an appointment and these guys got my car right in. I had recently been to dealer and was told I needed some brake work so these guys inspected my car and told me the brakes were fine. Brandon, the store manager even took the time to walk me out to the car in the shop and show me what was going on and quickly explain it so that I could be assured I was safe. This pepboys is full of honesty and integrity. We had a quick laugh about the stealership trying to take advantage of me and then they let me go without even charging for the inspection. Kudos to this store and the entire time for taking care of their customers the "right way"

The quality of their labor is on par. Their customer service is pretty poor though. After trying to do business with this location 2 times now; 2 times Ive been expected to pay an amount not agreed upon. They do not have the customer in mind. If you dont need a service, but think you do theyll do so instead of informing you otherwise. I see this as a way to make money, but not keep clients. I will not be returning. This is after talking to a manager both times, and they just try to talk you down into exhaustion so you give up the complaint just to leave instead of attempting to solve the problem.

Ive been to this place a few times since they opened. Brandon and the African American guy are straight up. The Puerto Rican guy however is always trying to scheme you into an upsell. I was recently there and discussed my services (oil change and tire rotation) before they did any work. I made sure to show the coupons I had so it was clear cut. When I went to pickup my car, the Puerto Rican guy added in a "Shop Fee" of $20. I almost lost it. After I asked him to get Brandon on the phone for me, he very quicky said he will discount my bill $20 to compensate for the "Shop Fee". Damn liar!!!
