I thought it was a great experience from the customer service and prices. But I spent thousands there and now I have 2 vehicles Im spending thousands more on to repair what they did. I have an Expedition that went from 17+MPG average, running to Winchester every weekend, to 13 on a good day... Took back just the other day, and they claimed thats normal... No 17-19 is normal for a 2004 5.4L. 13 is average for the 4cyl version. Found out from another COUPLE of shops that when they did the tune up, they messed up the EGR when they put it back on. And on my 7.3L F-350 they said they replaced the valve cover seal to get it to stop leaking oil... Ever since its been pouring out the oil out of the same side they replaced... Its so bad I have to park over an oil pan in the driveway now, because I has a river of oil running down the driveway after getting it back, and now 3 months later, my oil pump went out. I cant express my frustration enough. They treat my wife like an idiot just because Im an over the road truck driver and they apparently think she doesnt know a thing about motors... Surprise, her brother is a mechanic, just not local. They even tried telling us that the exhaust leak we were hearing running on the intestate ever since we got it back from them was from 2 pin holes in the pipe... Pin holes so small Im fixing them with JB Weld are not enough to sound like or headers are loose. And the fuel mileage and EGR, the other mechanics said if they really did check the pressures, they would have known something was wrong right away. Tied of trying to trust "friendly faces" just to be screwed over.

Recently, I had a slight maintenance overhaul for my 2013 Nissan Altima with 97K miles at their Knoxville location before embarking on a 2,200 mile trip: New rear rotors and brakes, new engine and cabin air filters, and brake system flush and refill. They not only inspected my entire vehicle to see what was pertinent for maintenance now but they told me honestly what could wait for the future. Their pricing is fair for the industry and they also honor a 10% military discount! Though what stands out above all else and all others is the ASTOUNDING Customer Service! The front office environment is impeccable and CLEAN. Their staff is professional, courteous, and they TRULY care. They will explain in detail what needs to be done and why, back it with simple animated videos to give a visual for clear understanding, bring you into the shop and show you first hand, offer water and fresh heated mouth watering cookies while one awaits in the office, call you a couple days after servicing your vehicle to check in, and send you handwritten letters in the mail thanking you for your business accompanied with a gift card to a local eatery. Simply, they know how to do business the right way.

I have had excellent experience with the Christian Brothers where I lived in Houston, so I was pleased to see that there was a CB here in Knoxville so convenient to me. I was still a bit skeptical because I had never done business with this particular one, but hoped that the CB corporate culture was universal with them; I was not disappointed. I do most of my own repair work, and when I had something that was beyond my toolbox, I took it to CB in Houston, and I always had good dealings with them, honest and competent are two words that describe them. After my experience here in Knoxville, I can tell you that I feel the same way about these guys. I met Cody, the owner, and was well treated and did not feel pressured to do something other than what was necessary to get me back on the road. All of my tools are still back in Houston and I could have made the repairs myself if I had them, CB could have had me over a barrel if they wanted to since I’m a thousand miles from home, but they didn’t want to. The staff behaved in the way CB expects them to, with courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend Christian Brothers anywhere, but certainly Cody and his crew in Knoxville.

Went to one auto shop, and they told me my AC compressor was bad -- not just not working, bad. Quoted a price of $1400 for the new compressor, associated parts and labor. Ouch. Called Christian Brothers, and they said, "Yeah, your car does that sometimes. Bring it down, and well check it out." They did, for a service fee, of course. But they came back and said the compressor was fine and that the system just needed a recharge. After the recharge, they AC system stopped blowing cold air again (which was the original problem). However, CB knew about that problem and checked the relay switch, which they also fixed. AC has worked great ever since! BTW, their quote for the compressor replacement was $1300, but it was great that CB found the other problems first and didnt just read a bad code and give up. All in all, I saved over $1000 by calling these guys! I wont mention names, but that other shop will no longer be my "first choice" for auto care. Thanks, Christian Brothers!

The guys at CBA took great care of my car. They were very considerate and upfront with everything that they did in regards to my cars repairs. No matter who I spoke with on the phone, I consistently got good customer service and advice. They really are the "nice guys" of mechanics and they do great work at a great pace. They also went out of their way to make sure that I had a ride when my car was with them (picking me up 10 minutes before they closed just so I wouldnt have to pay for an Uber). The whole team is very transparent with pricing and will gladly tell you an exact total before they start working on your vehicle so that you can approve of the work before they even start and if something else comes up, they call you before proceeding to make sure youre okay with additional costs. I loved the service that I received here and Ill definitely be back next time I need something taken care of. Id highly recommend CBA.

If there was a rating greater than five stars, Christian Brothers would absolutely deserve it. My husband and I both had our vehicles there last week, and they were all so honest, up-front and genuine when dealing with us. They had multiple conversations with us, and each time told us what was necessary, but also helped us save money. One thing that I needed fixed was the clock on my dash. They fully explained that to repair just the clock would be replacing a section of the dash; therefore, it would upwards of $200. They gave me a simple suggestion of getting a battery-powered clock and putting it on my dash. Fast forward a few days, and I have a package in the mail. They went ahead and ordered a clock and mailed it right to me! It was the simplest gesture, but its the small things that just truly stand out about their staff! They are great people and I would recommend them to anyone I come in contact with!

Was having the WORST day. Never would have thought getting my truck alignment done would have made it better, but it most definitely did. At every step in the process the staff was kind, and intentional about providing a first class experience. I had to double check my GPS because it felt like I was checking into a hotel instead of going to the mechanic. My phone battery was going dead, and they offered a charger. It was hot outside, and they offered a water. Im not sure if my alignment is bad or not, and they do the diagnostic work, free of charge. There was no high pressure add on service pitch, but they just offered a strait forward update on other issues I should be aware of. They even followed up with a courtesy call to say thank you to me. Who makes customers feel live a VIP? These guys. By far the best customer experience I have ever had.
