The man I spoke with on the phone with both yesterday and today regarding a problem with forwarding a package to my address was extremely rude. Today, when I called to check on the status, he coldly said, "Didnt I talk to you about this yesterday? I told you it was being forwarded." I explained that I had received a notice online stating the package was undelieverable and would be sent back to the sender, so thats why I was calling again. He just said, "Yes, its still going to be forwarded to you. It got caught in a loop." Then he hung up. Disappointed with this locations service! I called the 1-800 number earlier and the associate I spoke with was very kind and helpful. Then, I received a phone call from one of the Boise offices and that associate was kind and helpful, too. So it just really made this locations poor service really stand out to me. Im disappointed.

With the inclement weather weve had this year in the Treasure Valley, I wouldve expected that the US Postal Service wouldve been more helpful in delivering mail, even to neighborhoods where the conditions are still a bit rough. This is not the case with the Caldwell branch of the Postal Service. I cant tell you how many times Ive had them not driver a package on time to me because our neighborhood still has a lot of snow piled up. Delivery services like UPS never let me down, and theyve still delivered all of my packages on time in this weather. Another thing that bothers me is that they say there shouldve been a notice left when they couldnt delivery my mail/packages, but there hasnt been any since the snow hit. Im very disappointed in them and I wish that less businesses would use them for shipping purposes.

Mail carriers have been putting the wrong mail in our boxes and vise versa. We had ordered a collar and according to the shipper it was delivered. We live a subdivision where theres well over 100 houses and we were told to ask our neighbors if they had the package. We had to file a claim with our bank because the post office wouldnt do anything since the shipper didnt have insurance. None of this would happen if you would put the mail in the right box to begin with. Luckily the peoples mail weve been receiving we took it to their house. Cant say the same for us... weve yet to receive our collar

I just went on there twice today same guy first time he didnt take my id saying I couldnt use it because its a temporary Id so I had to go home grab my paper saying its good for 30 days. Then he accepted it and instead of checking to see if my packed was there and he told me it left already. When I called ant told some.lady my code it was there and she grabbed it never again will I live in caldwell with shity mail service sorry caldwell for the shorty mail service

Sent mail to an address I had received, but did not realize the home had not yet been built. Receive the envelope back from the Caldwell Post Office with handwriting that said "WTF" with a question make and the words "vacant address". Shocked that an employee of the Post Office would do this!!!

Busiest post office I have ever seen. The workers all are patient and kind, sometimes blunt but never rude! People need to realize that for a business that is this busy they need to be patient! Remember these employees have to deal with all you cranky people. Be polite and make their day!

Only go there for the certified mail because you have no choice. For shipping just go to UPS their business relies on efficiency and customer satisfaction not peoples apparent large waste of tax money.
