Absolutely horrible service! I entered the post office lobby at 4:58 PM June 02, 2015. A tape had been already placed where the line usually forms to block new patrons. I was using a large flat rate postal box for immediate mailing. The "Lead" representative closed the lobby several minutes before 5:00 PM and was servicing 3 other patrons and would not allow me to be serviced announcing the Post Office was closed. there was no one else in line. I asked LY if I could be serviced as I entered the lobby before 5:00 PM. LY was the name of the individual and he said he was the senior representative as the LEAD,he said no I could not be serviced.! I asked him for his employee number and he refused to give it to me. The you women next to LY behhind the counter would have serviced me but LY was firm and said no. I asked how I could schedule my box for pick up by the postman next morning. The women gave me directions to use the postage machines. I did not know the machine would service flat rate boxes successfully. If LY, the representative LEAD, would have taken the time to tell me what the other representative did to use the machine, I would not have been insulted, treated rudely and belligerently with refusal to give me service or his ID info. LY could have given me direction to use the machine but he chose to be arrogant. No wounder the postal service is in trouble, customer service is everything in business today, or havent you heard? By far the worst USPS store in my experience; an excuse-based organization. Used the "Delivery Instructions" to have the package delivered to the actual store so that I can pick it up in person and not risk the mail man returning to the store with it (a frequent occurrence). Not only did the postal lady have a "F*** you, stop wasting my time" attitude, but she insisted that the package is not in the store (even though the tracker indicated that the package had already arrived at the store the day prior). As I continued to investigate the lady then told me that the package "must have" been picked up by the mail man, who will leave a note at my door. Whats wrong with this picture here? Isnt this why I chose to have the package delivered to and be held at the store in the first place? So that the mail man wouldnt have to throw it in his truck and risk mis-delivering it? The amount of "talent" at this store is unbelievable, like an ignorant church group that will fight tooth and nail to inconvenient the customers. This store has ZERO leadership ZERO common sense and ZERO people skills Upper management needs to step in and make some changes.

Ive read a few of the negative comments posted on here, & just shake my head! From what Ive personally witnessed at the USPO located on Aviara Parkway: too many people in our society are just plain rude, disrespectful, and impatient. There was a time, when I was shipping packages at this P.O. every single day. The service Ive come to expect by the core group of Postal clerks working here, has been exceptional! They are professional, and create for a very nice pleasant atmosphere (provided youre there to create the same). The employees that Ive come to know on a personal level, and whom I would consider to be my friends: Hahn, Lee, Janet, & Romi (and several others), always make my experience at this Post Office, a positive one! Very bad service. The worst Post Office service I have ever had. Our Delivery person(s)must be dixlixic. He/ she often delivers our mail To another address in the neighborhood. This was even done with a priority or express mail which the sender spent over $30 to send to us. It was delivered to a wrong address. Many of our neighbors have complained about the same such bad service. When we do mail forwarding to our second home, instead of forwarding The mail it is sometimes returned to sender as no such address exist. This has happened twice in the last week. When we try to call them to complain nobody answers their phone. The only thing that I can say good about this particular office is that the people at the counter are nice and responsive.

i was waiting for a package, mail man drove infront of our door, i was standing at the door , he waved hello and kept driving. i though ok, maybe hes just gunna leave it in the mailbox at the front of the parking lot.... NOPE!!! he took package with him. My tracking number status said " business was closed" What!?? business was clearly open if lights were on and i was standing at the door. If he was too lazy to get out , he could have at least drove right up to the mailbox and dropped it off there. Now i gotta wait longer.

I dont know what has happened to the Post Office, but it has really gone downhill. We are constantly getting mail that is not ours - same goes for our neighbors. It just happened again. I am to the end of my rop. They also did not hold my mail while I was on vacation, even though it was clear they got the notice. As a result business checks were lost and my customers complained to me. Its to the point where I avoid using USPS for any package delivery.

Always had great customer service at this location. I was helped by Mike today who helped me how to help myself (by giving me hands-on training with using the self-checkout machines). He was quite helpful and the others who helped me at the desk in the past, were equally helpful. Thanks USPS Carlsbad!

Have tried to call this office several times and no one ever answers the phone. Just tried again 5 minutes ago and let it ring 25 times before finally hanging up. Called back and now get a busy signal! They took the phone off the hook??? Seriously?! This is a government office! AWFUL!

I have never seen anything with as poor reviews as USPS which has become a criminal operation run by scam artists and hackers. Theres nothing good about USPS and they should be investigated , shut down, and privatized. Our tax dollars are wasted on USPS.

Overnighted a package from here to North Hollywood and it went to NY?! And its still there. AND I cant talk to anyone. No one answered the phone or its busy. My package had to be there right away hence the overnight Priority Mail I paid for. Never again.

Terrible!!! Ive lived in the same home for 5yrs.. and in the last 6mo. Ive received random yellow slips "vacant, available box".. WHY??? I HAVENT MOVED!!!! Major inconvenience trying to track down statements not received!!!!
