Eric the owner is a straight shooter and will beat any dealership pricing, provide free loaner vehicles (if needed) and free shuttle service for local customers from work/home/etc. My family has been using them for years on all of our vehicles and with the tough times we currently have, Autotech has saved us thousands of dollars in vehicle maintenance and repair. The lead tech Rob, is very experienced and always repairs exactly what is required to safely complete the job. Many, many times we have been provided recommendations for future service. Where most people look at this as a shop attempting to carve more business...well its true...but the flip side to that is YOUR safety. FYI...The last time I was in the shop waiting a measly 20 minutes for an oil change while watching Jaws on the cable TV, a customer was told the front strut on his vehicle had a broken spring...hence the sagging on the front when he drove into the lot. Eric recommended not just that corner of the vehicle be replaced, but that both front strut assemblys be replaced. I was intrigued as to why...Eric explained that if he replaces both, they will have matching responsiveness and cornering abilities where as if only one was replaced it could cause the vehicle to corner, handle, brake or accelerate inaccurately and affect the font wheel alignment. Its things like this that the regular customer fails to have knowledge of when it comes to the messy work these guys knock out. Im glad I was given an education for the short time I was in the shop. I know this was lengthy, but its well deserved and its the least I could do to support local business, Eric and his associates.

Ive been taking my car here for years and also referred several friends to Autotech. Theyve given me nothing but top-quality, honest service, and all the friends Ive sent there have been extremely happy with the work and pricing. The guys behind the counter are friendly and straight-forward, and definitely doesnt leave you with the usual anxiety of going to get your car fixed. Highly recommended! Not sure what the heck all these other guys are talking about... Six years later... The service here has declined because a few people were forced out and Ive stopped bringing my car here. They replaced my battery and messed up my alternator. Clearly they didnt understand the alternator or what it did, or were giving me bogus explanations to send me on my way. Then I had to have my car towed because apparently it needed a tune up but they never told me until after the fact. Mechanics should give you heads up on maintenance and should also understand what theyre fixing. They are still friendly but thats not enough to keep my business.

This place has great customer service! My wife got a flat tire about 10 mins away from this location and was not able to get the tire off to change to the spare. I was not near the area, so could not come over myseft. After searching for the nearest tire repair center, I found Autotech. When I called and explained the situation, Eric offered to drive over to my wifes car to see if he could change the tire, so we would not have to call a tow. It ended up that the key for the wheel lock was stripped and Eric was not able to get the tire off either. But he did tell her that the tire looked like it would need replacing and not repair. Since Autotech did not have our tire in stock, and my wife was running late, we decided to have it towed to another tire shop. But even after coming out of his way Eric was very nice when I told him we were going somewhere else and he still recommended a good tow truck company for us.

I went a couple times for simple tail light replacement Im not a mechanic however I have always been told on the Halogen bulbs the naked skin should never touch because the oil shortens the bulb when I watched I questioned the guy said that has nothing to do with the bulb I was still wondering .Saying that I actually never had a problem with the bulb for 2 years.About a year ago I went back because close to my office and needed brakes all around done nice they drove me back to my office. Then maybe 6 month latter it felt that the brakes were having a issue.Again they drove me back to my office which was nice and a couple hours later they picked me up and said the brakes were over heating now about 6 months later the brakes are acting up I went back this time they dont want to take me back to my office to correct the problem So right or wrong I will be forced to go and pay good money to a mechanic to fix their problem.

Eric and his crew have done several repairs on the cars I have owned. At no time was I unsure of the advice I was given or the quotes I received. I have compared their prices to others and I would defy anyone to find a better price. Additionally, Eric has done several small fixes for me, my wife, and my sister, at no charge. No charge! Two times my wifes car broke down and in the first instance a tow truck was there within minutes and the second time Eric personally stopped by to assure my wife that a truck was on the way. Good luck finding anyone who will give so much and charge no fee. Auto Techs actions are in the best spirit of the true entrepreneur, giving back in hopes of a future return. Auto Tech has a a large sign posted on the face of their front desk. One part reflects Erics personal devotion to being a good neighbor. I believe this and trust Auto Tech with my vehicles.

My car died and I didnt know where to take it to. I googled what was close and decided to go somewhere named after a tire. But, in my 45 wait for the tow, looked at reviews online saw consistently great reviews for Autotech and decided to go there instead. I am super glad that I did as from the very moment that I called they were different in that they were super friendly, over-accomodating and explained EVERYTHING to me. They were straight shooting and made the process easy with a full year warranty on parts. When I paid my bill and got my car they even gave me a gift and a thankyou note. Oh yeah, they gave me a 10% discount too. Victor is the best, like a big brother you didnt know you had and Tina was super friendly too, she was like a relative trying to have me drink their coffee and eat their donuts. New customer and wil recommend highly to others. Thank you!

WARNING - These people FOR NO REASON disconnected a bad sensor. The disconnecting of the sensor caused my "check engine" light to come on. The owner refused to reconnect the sensor (despite their big sign saying theyll make everything right) because - get this - his mechanic no longer felt like working on my model vehicle any more. Instead, he referred me to a fly-by-night Mexican place which removed another sensor from my exhaust in the process of "repairing" my exhaust. So, now I am in another state with another problem which nobody will even look at until I either spend $1000 to fix the crap these idiots messed up, or my other option is, I can try to drive this broken heap all the way back to Chicago to ATTEMPT to have their "repairs" re-repaired under warranty. HORRIBLE SERVICE - NO INTEGRITY - DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE - BEWARE!
