Horrible experience! Went in last night and applied for an Avalanche. We were told that they would need to talk to the bank over the phone, so they would need to call them today, and they would let us know this morning. The sales guy, Shaun, told us that we should write a check to hold the truck and to show were serious about buying it. My fiancé called at 830/9 in the morning. They told him Shaun was with other customers, and that hed call us back. He never did. We tried calling back again at 10:30, and Shaun told us that the computers were down and that hed called us back. Again, he never did. We called a third time after 12, and thats when he told my fiancé that we did not get approved. He told us that if we put more down, they should be able to do something. We asked to let us know how much we need to put down and call us back. We never got a call. We didnt understand though because we had already been approved for a much more expensive car at another dealership. So, my fiancé went there to find out what was going on, and to get our check back. When he got there, they paged Shaun twice, and he never came. My fiancé asked another sales guy where the truck was because he didnt see it, and the sales guy said that they sold it this morning! So, before Shaun ever talked to us. After my fiancé left, he called to talk to the general manager, but they wouldnt put him on, so they put someone else on the phone who had the nerve to say "well, do you have $6500? We know the guy who bought it, and well just tell him you had dibs on it if you give us $6500." After that, Shaun called us to say that it wasnt his fault, and that he had nothing to do with the truck being sold. Yet, he never took it upon himself to follow up and let us know that someone else was buying the truck. Instead we got lied to, and led to believe that we could still possibly get it. When we asked the finance manager what happened and what was the point in us giving them the check, he said that they didnt get the payments where we wanted them, and instead of calling to tell us that, they took it upon themselves to sell it to their buddy instead of seeing if we can come up with more money down. This is very shady business. We will never do business with them, and we recommend that no one else does either.

the service here has gone progressively downhill in the last 5 years, had my front brakes replaced and was told even though the rotors are good, they need to be turned, which caused them to warp and Im expected to pay for replacements, the last 4 times I had basic maint done- oil changes tire rotations, they always adjusted the seat for who ever moved the car, and didnt even try to move it back, adjusted my rearview mirror for a midget, never checked air pressure in the tires- even when they rotated them. now I am told that a lug bolt is bad and Im expected to pay for replacing it and a new set of chrome lugs, even though they were the last ones to take the tires off, my visit for an oil change last fall resulted in the guy trying to upsell me on additional services and telling me my struts were leaking- my car only has 35k miles on it! and wouldnt put it back on the rack to show me the leak, but expected me to take his word for it and schedule an appointment to come in for a $500 plus repair! I was turned away for an oil change 3 weeks ago because it was 1 oclock and they closed in 3 hours( 2 hour wait was the reason I was given), 2 weeks ago was told at 11am that there was a long wait and that it would be better to come in at 7am, made an appt a week ago to get some recall repair for a faulty airbag connection and went in this morning to be told, sorry we dont have the part, got home to find a message on my machine 25 mins BEFORE my appt that they dont have the part. I bought the car here brand new in 2009, have had all maintenance work done here, I will be looking for a better dealership to service my car at this point

Just recently received a recall notice from GM in the mail for my Chevy. Recall that I received in the mail stated that Ron Westphal would provide a loaner while the car was getting fixed. I called the dealership and they stated that the parts were not available and would have to be ordered. The parts would take about 1 week to arrive. I asked about the loaner and they said they did not provide that. We hung up and I looked at the notice I received from GM again. It clearly said on there that the dealership should provide a loaner in the meantime. I called the 1-800 number on the notice and the lady apologized and corrected them stating that they should have offered a vehicle. I said that we have a son we are trying to coordinate transportation for since the recall of this car. She said she would call the dealership and talk to the manager for me while putting me on hold. A few minutes later she had Mike on the phone from Ron Westphal. He never apologized for the wrong information that was communicated. He said that he had the parts available and asked when we could come in. I found it very funny that all of a sudden the parts that would have taken a week to order were now suddenly in for a tomorrow appointment once GM contacted her. POOR business. I guess it doesnt matter to them that 10 deaths have occurred since this recall started. As soon as they learn they are supposed to offer a loaner the parts magically become available.

My wife and I were not in the market for a new car, as we just paid off our Traverse we had. Well the timing chain was going on it, and was going to cost us in the neighborhood of $4k to fix it. We were out of warranty, so we decided to look at buying/leasing a new Traverse. Found the one we wanted with all the right options at Ron Westphal. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were at the right place. I had already made an appointment and someone was already helping us, but the other sales people still asked us if we wanted a water or something else to drink. It sounds silly, that this is one of the things that stood out, but I have been in sales for some time and it is always impressive when a salesman (who has no chance of getting our business, as we are working with someone else) still offers hospitality. Unfortunately most often will just move on to the next customer. This was not the case at this dealership. We enjoyed our time in the office and the Sales Manager was fantastic! He was personable and not overbearing at all. Again another positive part of our experience at this dealership. Great work team, we will be back for our next Chevy in 3 years, we decided to lease it. We have never leased before either, so the Sales Manager was great explaining the positives/negatives of leasing. Thank you again, I would give you 10 stars if I could!
