I came here the morning of my wedding with my bridal party and had 2 very different experiences in the same morning. Mel did my bridal makeup and she was awesome! At my consultation months earlier she was super sweet and seemed so eager to please. When I had my makeup done the morning of, it was flawless and lasted all day! On top of the wonderful job, Mel was great at calming my wedding day nerves! The other girl doing makeup for my bridal party did a pretty good job but she may have gone a little heavy on one girls eye makeup. Overall, though, very good experience with makeup. My hair turned out okay but the hairdresser was rude and cut corners. At my consultation she pulled a ton of little curls into a bun, which required an hour of work and a million bobby pins. It looked beautiful and stayed in all day. The morning of my wedding, she made it clear she had no interest in me. She was super rude, ignored me and spent very little time on my hair. She didnt listen to me about veil placement and it took me 3 tries to ask her to move it lower on my head. The bun was not nearly as intricate as the one we had discussed earlier and there were bobby pins falling out of my head all day (even though there were very few to start with)! I think it looked alright in pictures, but it definitely wasnt the beautiful updo from the trial. Their makeup is great but I would not go here for hair.

I called to see if they would have any waxing appointments available. They got me in right away with Mel. After being canceled on by another salon I was getting pretty frustrated. The receptionists made me feel welcome and Mel was very nice. This was my first waxing so I have nothing to compare the actual job to but I am happy with the way I was treated and the outcome of the waxing. I plan to return for future waxings and try them for a hair cut. So I returned today for a haircut and I have to say it was the best haircut experience Ive ever had! Stefani was so personable and friendly and really got into cutting my hair. She genuinely seemed excited about cutting my hair and she did a fabulous job! I love it! She can count me as a lifetime customer! Ive never left a haircut as wonderful as I did today!

I was recently there with a bridal party. I liked my stylist but I was very irritated with the pricing. All 7 of us were charged differently. We all has an hour time slot (many finished in less than an hour) and had very similar hair styles. It wasn’t until after we left the salon that all of us asked one another what each paid. The range was from $50 to $80. I completely understand how more experienced stylist charge more, but we were never asked what type of stylist we wanted to be with.. I have been with other bridal parties before and usually we have all been charged the same amount. I found this to be very deceiving.

I have been there a couple of times and the first time wasnt bad at all i got a great cut and nice highlights. The second time i was ignored for 20 mintues while the people at the front desk were debating lunch choices. I went back for a trim and i did not get what i wanted, in fact she cut 3 more inches off than i asked and this was a master stylist that i had been to before. I also got a massage for valentines day that was over priced and frankly sub-par. I will not be going back i only hope i can find a good salon in the future.

I had a great first time experience with Wendy, a facialist at BJ Grand. However, she cancelled on me TWICE for my second facial -- once because she had "a wedding to go to" (please, I made my appointment months in advance!) and the second time because she was sick. Both times I was notificed less than 24 hours in advance -- the second time they called while I was driving there! Bottom Line: BJGrand offers competitive prices but I will gladly pay a few dollars more for better customer service elsewhere!

I went to Bjs the first time and i got an awful haircut and color. A friend of mine referred me to a different stylist so I decided to go back one more time.She told me to go to a very sweet girl named Amber. She did an awesome job, she was young, and very easy to talk to. I loved my hair when she was finished. I would never go back to anybody else. Unfortunately she does not work there anymore. She works in Monticello at Studio 114

Absolutely love Tara Liz, not only is she the only person I would trust with my hair, but she is so knowledgeable! Tara has always made great recommendations, never steers me wrong, and has always answered all of my questions. I went from knowing how to do nothing with my hair, to knowing how to style my hair in a variety of ways. The absolute best, and I get nothing but compliments on my cut for weeks, even months after.

The people were mostly nice and friendly. My haircut was fine, but not really styled. My nails turned out poorly. I could have gotten better nails for $20 anywhere else. Disappointing.
