Got a cut and high/low lights 3 times in the past year by the same stylist. Im used to paying $2oo ++ for this service but when it reached over $300 for my short medium blond hair to go more blond I had to say bye-bye!! Though I paid my bill and tipped my stylist I did end up calling the next day to make sure this was the price they meant to charge me. The receptionist started the defense of this outrageous price. When I asked to speak to a manager I was put on hold then told the manager left for the day. The manager was suppose to call me back when available but my stylist called instead-AKWARD! My stylist happily argued her case and demanded she deserved what was charged. Oh well....You live and learn!! Staff is nice but the place is dumpy and lacks in true salon atmosphere! I was also quoted $250 for a keratin treatment-REALLY!?!?! Naperville and Chicago have too many awesome salons with less outrageous prices- I wish I had read reviews before going there!! Be warned---the hefty prices are not in relation to the run down strip mall services!!

I dont understand the review about arrogant front desk, becasue I have been going to the salon for 4 or 5 years and always find them friendly and helpful. The front desk staff have even gotten online for me and into my email so that I could retrieve a phone number. The usual amenities when you arrive are to take your appt info, then to offer to take your coat, and then they offer you tea or coffee or water. Ive never seen them to be unfriendly, even though Im not a tall blonde model", but rather a short, overweight senior citizen. The stylists are very friendly, even those who are are not your own. Ive had two stylists over the years and they are very nice and really try to please their customers. Their massage area is very pleasant. Even when I have had to cancel an appt. the front desk has been so pleasant. They have pleasantly offered to rebook, and have been just as pleasant when I wish to do the scheduling at another time.

I have been to hundreds of salons in my time and have never written a review, but felt compelled in this case. I have been going to Jonelle for over 4 years now and she is incredible. Her attention to detail and understanding of service is second to none. She is Haircolor Certified (which, from what i understand is like a PHD in color), has been educated by platform and show artists and has also completed curriculums at the top education facility in NYC. She also does hair in Los Angeles at Pureologys flagship salon and is flown back and forth. I can see why she is in such high demand. Looking forward to my next appointment with her!

Jodi is DA BEST! Shes been doing my hair for a very long time (mid 90s) and it always looks GREAT! I always get compliments on my hair...thanks to her! The staff at FG are amazing and very accommodating. They also carry various lines of hair care and skin care which I appreciate. Its like one stop shopping! You should definitely try this place out. You wont be disappointed!

Love this place! Ryna and Angelina are the bomb. Not only are the stylists here very skilled, but the salon goes above and beyond with customer service. I recently switched to Frank Gironda after a decade of Mario Tricoci and am so glad I did.

I couldnt be happier! Ive been looking for a good salon to dye my hair a certain red and thanks to the man who did my hair, Luis, my hair is exactly how I want it! Im deffinatly going again.
