These guys are great. I have a 99 Cavalier 2.2. 4cylinder engine. I had to get a new throttle cable a few months back because the one I had broke. I called a number of shops in champaign & Urbana to get price quotes on a new throttle cable I needed. I couldnt believe how much they were charging. Most of them were giving me price quotes in the neighborhood of $300-$400 range! Im not real knowledgeable about cars, but know a little bit about them and how to fix some things from working on them with my brother, but that seemed way overpriced!! I finally called these guys at T.M.S autocare and spoke with Joe and told him what the problem was with my car and the symptoms my car was having with the throttle cable needing to be replaced. He immediately came across to me as reassuring me that I wouldnt need to worry that they could fix it. Also he was very honest and valued integrity with me as the customer which is a huge plus that put my mind at ease a bit and guide me through the process. Back to the issue at hand though. Apparently it was a part that most shops have to order when I called (which they told me could take a week or week 1/2) or take it to a dealership where they have guys who know how to fix it but also have the part in stock. Not only was Joe & his guys able to fix the throttle cable problem i was having, but they were able to do it at an EXTREMELY competitive price! They didnt have the part in stock, but that he can order it and have it back to me first thing Monday. Which is exactly what happened! By the way, I almost forgot to mention when I took my car here that it was the day before thanksgiving and most people are heading out of town for the holiday for the weekend. The reason I included that little bit of info is because when called most other shops they said they wouldnt be able to schedule me in for a couple weeks at the earliest. Also because of the thanksgiving weekend holiday including that most of them were closing early. All this to be said my overall experience with these guys was great and I couldnt of asked for more. Which is why I am giving Joe & his guys here at T.M.S autocare a full 5 star rating! Also, just in case you were wondering how much it costed me when it was all said and done. I paid about $130. Which is exactly what Joe said it would be about before I even took my car in so they could fix it. Again, these guys are great! Thanks Joe & guys at T.M.S. autocare!

Very impressed with the business as a whole. From oil changes to diagnosing and fixing major repairs I only take out cars to T.M.S. Example: wifes car had an oil leak that we had diagnosed by 3 different shops all which agreed it was the lower intake manifold gasket. That repair can run over $1000 dollars so when I saw the reviews on T.M.S. I had to have them do the work. When I called, the manager suggested I get a second opinion. I explained that I had several mechanics say it was the LIMG. He asked if I could run it by so they could have a look, I did and they found the actual problem was a small O-ring above the LIMG. Long story short previous work had been done improperly and T.M.S. Saved me getting ripped off for over $700!

The guys at tms are awesome. Stopped by this morning because engine was overheating. They were very busy and I was told they couldnt see me right away. The guy that was setting up my appt decided to just check out my car and was able to figure the issue out and fix it with no charge great service if youve had a bad experience with them u probably just cant be pleased they know great customer service

I was going to rate them higher, as they were really nice and worked with me on finding the best options, but when I got back in my car it reeked of smoke. Im pretty sensitive to it, but I cant imagine many people liking getting their car back smelling like this. So my windows have been down in 35degree weather trying to air out the smell.

Ive gone to them for two different cars within the last month or so. With both cars and issues, they were able to figure out what the problem was, fix it in a timely manner, and offer extremely competitive pricing. Overall, they strike me as stand up guys who are not taking advantage of their customers.

The local Hyundai dealership told me that there was $1,200 of imminent trouble and another $2,600 of less urgent repairs on my $2,600 car. I took it to TMS for a second opinion and they said the car was in great shape and only needed some belts replaced. I cant recommend these guys enough.

Outstanding service. These guys know what customer service is all about. They take time to explain the mechanical issues and then go through step by step the processes needed for the repair. I have been back over and over. Why? Because the price is right and the service is amazing.

I hit the curb and steering went off center. I went there to did an inspection. Within 10 mins, I was told all components are good and I just need an wheel alignment at other place(they dont do wheel alignment). The inspection is FREE!!! Very fast and honest people.

Got a tire fixed here. I took it off cause it had a slow leak and had gone flat. They straightened out the rim for me and its good now. Seem like nice guys, only cost me $20, and they put the tire back on the car for me. Solid.

I took in my car with tire issues, thinking it would cost well over a hundred dollars. They fixed it within a few hours and it only cost 26 bucks, they could have really screwed me but they didnt! legit guys

Called around 8:30am to make an appointment for 9am, car was looked at for about a half hour to diagnose the problem, then about another 30-40 mins to fix, and was out by 10:15 ish. Overall very satisfied!
