Of the mechanics Ive had over the years, these are the ~only~ ones I would recommend to anyone. Friendly and personable, theyre generally quick and know what theyre doing - in fact, if the job is major, they will show you what they did - show you the parts - show you what was wrong, etc. The best part about this crew however is that they really respect their regulars. They are really willing to work with you if an issue is too expensive, they will eat fees that other car places would make YOU pay when they really dont have to, and last time I had a job done, it took a bit longer than normal and they gave me a free oil change. Ive researched the jobs they do and the price ranges, and they never go above whats listed by other places. Highly recommended - treat them nice and they will treat you right.

OK, to start off with these guys are amazing, they had a transmission rebuild special going on, i received the coupon in the mail, first of all oil changes for $14.99 awesome , i usually pay $40 whenever i go to Jiffy Lube second of all, the main reason i went there was for there transmission rebuild special which cost $1100, i called other shops for price comparisons and everyone else wanted to charge 1800-2000, Sam really took care of me, he had a ride for me back home and also picked me up a couple of days later when the car was done, they also saved all the old parts for me in case i wanted them. I will defiantly be coming back for anything else my car needs, very friendly people they make you feel like family. Two thumbs up with these guys, I strongly recommend them for your car repairs.

My experience with this company was the best experience ever. I am from Memphis TN, coming to Chicago for a funeral with my family. Our car motor was threw. We started google auto mechanic in Chicago. So we gathered info and began calling. These guy at Expert Auto was so helpful. Mike was trying to help us out and telling us what to check for before he told us we had to bring it in. We were here on a Saturday so take in mind we had to wait til Monday before we knew anything. We got the news and it was bad but he was so helpful... We was going to leave it here but he told us a out financing and he told just try it. We tried and we were are approved truck fixed and now we are back to on the road to Memphis. Thanks Expert Auto for everything

DO NOT COME HERE! NO VENGA AQUI! Terrible, terrible experiene bringing my vehicle here. They knowingly sold me a muffler that would not work with my vehicle even after i told them that money wasnt a factor. Only months after it was installed it fell apart. I returned for an explanation and a refund. I got neither. The guy claimed whoever said that muffler worked with my car was wrong... Yet that very same person was sitting right next to him at the counter. No apology, no refund, and they still wanted me to pay full price for replacement labor. Nope. Id rather pay higher prices at a shop that actually cares about their customers...

Its been two and a half years and Ive never been disappointed. There is just no substitute for a mechanic who knows what they are doing and who get the job done correctly. Ive had major work done at Expert Auto in addition to custom performance work. Sam, the manager is very personable and goes out of his way to make sure Im happy. Carlos has done amazing custom exhaust work, Bayo installed a limited slip diff on my mustang, and thousands spent on numerous other repairs and up-grades. If you want your car diagnosed and repaired correctly....I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

These people write thier own reviews is right. The guy mike that works thier does all the talking con man . Must have called three times telling that my car was not safe to drive cause will the issues wrong with it he had my bill to 2300 dollars all I wanted oil change. I have my own mechanic works on my car . Brought it to him to get it fixed he said nothings wrong with your car. So if you dont know about cars they will rob you. Just dont know how they are still in business. You have been warned

The people at Expert Auto Centers are really friendly and conservative. They really do care about what the customers need and want. They will work with the customer to find a reasonable price and best part is that they finance, they did work on my car and once the job was done I left without paying a dime and finished paying everything within 3 months. I highly recommend you guys come into this location to get work done on your car.

BEST AUTO MECHANIC SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO I TOOK MY CAR TO TWO DIFFERENT SHOPS AND THEY COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT SO I TOOK IT TO EXPERT AUTO CENTER THEY CHECKED MY CAR OUT FOR FREE WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE WANTED TO CHARGE AND THEY FIXED IT FOR ME THE SAME DAY THE GUY AT THE DESK ROCCO WAS VERY NICE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND WAS VERY INEXPENSIVE THEY DID GREAT WORK ON MY CAR AND IT IS RUNNING VERY GOOD NOW.

very professional and very helpful. they showed me the problem with my car then told me the price and i was very surprised at how the low the price was compared to other shops. they fixed mt car perfectly and runs just as good as it did when i brought it. i strongly recommend these guys if you want a fair and honest job at a fair and honest price. great service and great mechanics.

Worst experience ever. Spend over 3,000 just to fix problems because of the engine light,that wouldnt pass the emission test. So supposedly. .."they fix everything" and still didnt pass. These people are scammers.Never again. ..no wonder they changed their business name to American auto repair on this site.because these mechanics are no experts! !!

i serched all over town for a good price for a used tire. when i came here they gave me a legit price and replced it for me with a good one. while they were doing that i was waiting for them in the office and i found out they do mufflers it must be really easy to do such things if there really busy. thinking of getting one:)

they post fake review, just to bring people in. i went here for work done on my car.they not only order the wrong parts and took 4 hours for a simple break installment .they didnt even bleed my breaks .which ultimately cause my breaks to go out in traffic casein me to crash .;) fake reviews

Liers and cheaters I was waiting for an oil change I saw them charging 80 bucks to a young naive guy just for checking the engine light They didnt help him at all. What a bunch of rats Specially the dark fat guy that wears scarfs And they post fake review. #losers

I was given quality service with straight foward prices that were very detailed. I loved the whole idea of a family owned business as well. Most importantly they assesed my car and gave me a reasonable price for everything I needed. I COULDNT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER!
