Chicago Messenger Service is untrustworthy and extremely unprofessional. They pick up USPS mail and packages for large office buildings and are supposed to deliver packages to the appropriate companies. Our company recently sent a USPS priority package which was picked up at a local Post Office by the daily courier at CMS(according to USPS scans, tracking information and employees) and never made it to the proper office building in the many "bulk" deliveries they do on a daily basis. According to Chicago Messenger Service employees, they dont have scans or tracking on any of these types of Express and Priority packages thereby shirking all responsibilty for the safe delivery of them. We are out the cost of the missing product and the intended recipient is left wondering why the item was never delivered although their company has contracted with Chicago Messenger Service to get deliveries to them safely. We are not suprised by the negative reviews of this company and urge people to consider using messenger services with more professionalism and accountability

Wow, what an awesome experience during a very frustrating time! My daughter-in-law had to fly into Chicago from Florida to pick up a passport for a trip out of the country the very next day! I contacted Chicago Messenger Service to arrange for a courier to pick up the passport at the passport agency and take it to my daughter-in-law at Chicago OHare International Airport. I specifically worked with Michelle, who was exceptional and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. I must have called her 8 or 9 times to change the time or ask a question and she was professional and helpful during every call. Time was of the essence as my daughter-in-law had to immediately board another flight from Chicago back to Florida and had the courier been at all late she would have missed her return flight which would have caused her to miss her international flight! Michele and this service were superior and I would recommend them to anyone that has a need for a courier service in Chicago!!!

My company used Chicago Messenger a few times a week for years. Upon have a very dissatisfactoy experience - ordering round-trip hurrier service, having it take 4 hours to return - I called to speak about having the charge removed because the service was not fulfilled as it should be. Not one customer service representative (even the manager, Elsa) seemed to understand that: although the first half of the round trip was completed on time, the second half tookk 3 times as along as it should, thus negating the point of the HURRIER round trip. 3 days ago Elsa said she would investigate removing the charge and has yet to call back. Highly urge anyone looking for a messenger service in Chicago to look elsewhere.

Have been using Chicago Messenger Service for over a year now & couldnt be happier that we made the switch. BIll is fantastic to work with and his staff is exceedingly professional. Packages and any delivery requests we have had from our business are always handled in a timely manner! Their drivers take extra care in handling valuable packages and we were impressed with the level of detail that is taken at the the point of delivery! Would highly recommend Chicago Messenger Service for any business or personal use.

I called them at 12:30 and told them I needed a package delivered to the suburbs before 4 PM (from downtown). I called at 2 PM because it hadnt been picked up. I just called for the status and they said it will be delivered before 6:30. My client closes at 5 PM. There was no sense of care or urgency on their end, and they offered to knock $10 off of my $75 bill. I just called them again and they said the best they could do is 5:30. Again, my clients doors lock at 5 PM. Dont use them if you have a deadline.

My firm switched to CMS 2 years ago after meeting Brad, one of the managers, at a networking event. We agreed to try out Chicago Messenger for one week. We were very frustrated with the slow and undependable service from who we were using, plus we had to use one company for courier services, and a second company for deliveries. Not only is cost of CMS nearly two thirds lower than our former couriers, we have never had a lost package, we now can also enjoy same day service within the city! Thank you CMS!

Ive used Chicago Messenger at 2 different jobs now and they have always been timely and considerate. The sales team is so nice! If you ever have a chance to speak to Dan in the Sales Department he goes the extra mile to help satisfy your messenger needs. By far the best in Chicago, and the track record to prove it (theyve been around for 50 years!) Forget the others.. I ALWAYS Choose CMS for our messenger work!

Last year I would have recommended Chicago Messenger Service to any of my customers and colleagues. Unfortunately the their quality of service has considerable diminished with unreliable drivers, poorly managed dispatch, and terrible customer service. I will not go into details of how they treated my company, but I will strongly urge to STAY AWAY from using Chicago Messenger Service.

I stick with Chicago Messenger Service (cms) because they are always on time and polite. They have great customer service and make all deliveries easy on you. Their professionalism and quality are at the highest from what Ive seen from other messenger companies in Chicago. Whether rain, snow or sun my package will be there arriving by bike, car, van, truck etc. I love cms!
