As I devoured my oxtail dinner, I thought to myself “Uncle who…”? Note to self, I’m going to my new “Uncle” from now on. Jerk World Chicago is where I go to quench my need for authentic Jamaican food. What distinguishes Jerk World is that they cook your food to order. You avoid the overcooked taste that you sometimes get at other places. I’ve had the oxtail dinner with a side of rice and beans with cabbage, it was absolutely delicious. I also had the jerk chicken and “Meh belly was happy” thats all I can say. Its also nice that they are on Grub Hub. What also impresses me about Jerk World is the owner’s social consciousness. Jerk World has catered for the Ronald McDonald House, who serves families dealing with children who often have very serious illnesses. Meals were served to these families free of charge while they grapple with the medical challenges facing their kids. I highly recommend Jerk World Chicago because not only do they have good food but they are good people.

Id been to a few Jamaican Restaurants before, which turned out not be a good food experience. Went along to a part with some family friends, to celebrate a birthday party and tried the Jerk chicken and immediately asked who made this. Soon after the place had a buzzing atmosphere about the food. I end up ordering from Jerk world for my daughters party. The food was perfect, good size portions and speedy service which always makes for a better food experience. I recommend Jerk World as one of Chicagos best Jamaican food experience.

The food is authentic and made with love. I placed orders for Jerk Chicken, Roast Beef and a tray of the rice and peas for a family event. The business owner was very delightful and my order were ready on time, flawless execution I would say. My family and I enjoyed each and every bite of our meals. Guaranteed we WILL be ordering from this establishment again!
