I started working in the loop a little over a month ago. Being the naturally curious creature that I am; I have been making sure not to eat anywhere twice. I am not sure if all the Cosi Chains are like this one…but I am very impressed! Everything is incredibly fresh…I am not talking subway…pink tomatoes sitting out all day type fresh...I am talking serious envious of others food as it is being prepared fresh! I have yet to find a wilted lettuce leaf or a reason for less than 5 stars. Needless to say it has been the first downtown restaurant to receive my repeat business. I have been 5 times…tried 5 different items and have had 5 great experiences. Sincerely, Dan P.S. I am sure the manager with the cute eyes isn’t a drawback either.

I was in here a few years ago with a school group touring the museum. I loved the bean filled door handles, the atmosphere is warm an inviting. The group of us went in for a quick lunch and got a real treat for dessert- we ordered the Smores, expecting a plate with some crackers and chocolate. Very much to our pleasure they brought a wooden sideboard loaded with crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, shish-kabob sticks, and a tiny pot full of flamable purple jell that the server lit up for us! It was the most fun I have ever had in a restaurant and I hope they still carry that dessert when I return.

Un sitio muy chulo, bien situado, trato agradable y una buena comida a gran precio. Las sopas muy ricas (recomendable la de tomate) y los bocadillos genial también. Seguramente volvamos a ir algún día que estemos en Chicago.

I go to this place fairly frequently for lunch because of convenience, and its pretty good (especially their freshly baked bread). Unfortunately, the prices are a little high for a college student on a tight budget, but, depending on what you get, the prices are pretty doable. I do recommend that you get the sandwich with the beef, blu cheese, and onions--that was some good stuff. Their lentil soup, however, left much to be desired.

I used to go to Cosi all the time when I lived in Philadelphia. Here they are few and far between. Cosi has a great selection of sandwiches, salads and soups making it an ideal lunch stop. During the fall they carry my favorite sandwich which is basically Thanksgiving dinner on flatbread, cranberry sauce and all. The coffee is actually pretty good here, which is saying something for a lunch place. Dont forget the smores!

This is the BEST cold meat sandwich youll ever eat. The sandwich consists of this amazing homemade hard bread sliced very, very thin. Layers of meats and cheeses are stuffed in between. The bad thing about this place is the sandwhich is not very filling and kind of expensive. Its a nice treat while shopping downtown, but not a meal for most people

Good, fresh food. Most dishes are based on a freshly, home-made/baken bread which serves as side-dish to salads and as base for sandwiches. For sandwiches I found this bread a bit too hard. Nevertheless the filling was great as well as the overall taste. Not the nices cosi branch in Chicago, but not bad.

Very surprised at the quality of the food. The flavors were amazing and portions were perfect. I could eat their bread all day. I had the pesto chicken but kept drooling at the flat bread pizzas as they went by. Next time I will opt of half sandwich and half flat bread for the best of both worlds!

Im disappointed that they dont still use the brick oven to cook their flatbreads - they used to be so delicious! They kept the fresh, high-quality ingredients - but the new method makes for some mushy flatbreads. This location was efficient and staff was friendly, but it was a little dirty.

Just letting you know this COSI is now closed. They recently began doing sidewalk work on Wabash, and then the COSI closed. They had a large corner spot, not sure why it closed, but there you have it. So hopefully youll find another close by instead of going here.

Busy at lunch time, but lost of seating. Fresh ingredients. Lots of food options and combinations. Let the person behind you go ahead if its tour turn and you still havent decided. Free WiFi and local art on the wall.

Awesome place. Excellent prices for excellent food and coffee. 3x cheaper than the famous brands, yet with fresh specialty bagels made every day, and a very friendly and diverse staff. Id go there every day easily.

My margarita pizza was fantastic but my friends were very disapointed by their sandwich (They both got the same one). Aparantly the honey mustard was super gross, they were so disgusted I didnt try it for myself.

The stand out item served here is their flat bread, which they use for all their sandwiches, also as a side for their soups. For a little extra, you can mix and match half menu items eg salad + sandwich.

Its just that, cosi. I had a Thai salad and if was really really good. Prices are on the high side but what are you going to expect from an upscale place in an upscale location. Thanks staff!

Its right across from the museum, so you can imagine how busy this place can be. You could be waiting a long time for your order and the restrooms are not in good shape.

Great alternative if you are tire of traditional sandwiches. They have home made bread. and offer gourmet sandwiches. Get the italian, it is the best one

Standard menu that has gotten stale over time, and the best (imho) dishes are gone. Never a big wait, friendly staff, I am partial to the bread.
