As much as I hope this place stays a secret, I really have to give it a strong endorsement. It only recently opened but already is a well managed and designed business. Really impressed. Exp 1: Bowling -Can call ahead to reserve a lane, so no show up and hope you get one frustrations. -Off hours are affordable. We paid $24 total for 3 people + shoe rental. -Super comfy, private feel of lanes. Big leather couches, large coffee-table for food/drinks, and columns divide up the space well. Its also pretty quiet for a bowling alley - we never felt like we had to shout to talk. -Modern tech lanes. Automatic scoring, tells you whose turn it is, etc. -Super kid-friendly. Automatic bumpers pop up in the gutters depending on who is up, and they have ramps so the little ones can just place a 6-7lbs ball on the ramp, watch it roll down, and then scream in delight as it knocks pins over. Our lil dude scored about 70 = super fun experience for him. -Dont come here looking for a pro-level experience though. Just social bowling. Exp 2: Food/dining -Bowling alley service was quick and friendly. -Overall food (we got the flat bread and salad) was solid. Croutons on the salad seemed homemade bread - moral of the story is this isnt cheap frozen food - its good quality eats. -Price is reasonable. $21 for mac n cheese kids meal w/ milk & cookie, adult flatbread pizza, full size Caesar salad and pepsi. Random Stuff: -Their outdoor seating and bar area overlooks the river - and looks awesome. Come spring/summer Im sure we will frequent this place. -They have Bocce ball - which i never played, but the people doing seemed to have a great time even in their dress shoes. Overall, we were skeptical as to how this would fit in to the Streeterville scene with a couple other bowling alleys around, but the whole package of what theyve done + good service + good bang for your buck = definitely worth checking out.

BE CAREFUL THEY FORCED THEIR OWN TOP AND IT WAS ALMOST 50%!! A bunch of us went to Pinstripes to spend a Sunday afternoon, the idea was to play some fun games and have some drinks.. we wanted to try bocce ball, the staff didnt know the rules and they werent helpful at all, the drinks were okay. I always tip well, and despite the mediocre experience I tipped %20.. A few weeks later while I was checking my bank statement I notice that my total at pinstripes was higher than I agreed to pay. I guess they didnt like the 20% tip and wanted 45%!! I call them today to give them a chance to correct this horrible mistake, and the response was a manager will call you back later today or tomorrow! P.S: I will update this if I hear back from them. Update: No one called back! and I had to file a dispute.

Went here for a very special occasion last night. I was excited to see my friend who I hadnt seen in five years. When they brought the bread out I took a bite of the bread and dipped it in the olive oil. When I tried to swallow the bread I felt that something was hurting my throat. I started to get a gag reflex. I went to the bathroom and threw up. There was a piece of sharp metal wire inside my throat!!!! The manager came out and apologized. At that moment I was just in shock. He brought me a hot tea and offered to pay for dinner but I was no longer hungry. I am still in shock. My Roomate who is in law school is encouraging me to press chargers. Any advice? I feel that the harm was too big. I literally could have gone to the emergency room if it had passed my throat. Still burns a little.

This place is high quality all-around: the bowling/bocce is a nice, classy alternative to bowling in neon-lit, pop-music blaring setting which is my norm for bowling. The food was fantastic, and our server was generous with her kind smile generously. I was slightly annoyed the advertised bowling price of $15/hr was per person, not per lane (just seems less intuitive to me and is the only reason this isnt a 5-star review.). That being said, this is not a low-buck place and thats fine. The accommodating service made up for it. Make a reservation for the weekend- its a popular spot and you are gambling if you hope to bowl/bocce without a slot reserved. We bowled and then dined separately, but you can have food and drinks served right in the bowling alley as well.

I have been here twice. Once to play bocce ball and have drinks and then again last night to watch the World Series game. My first experience was fine we just played bocce ball and hung out. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. Last night we returned and were able to get a table in the bar area to watch the game. We had a wonderful waitress who was very nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot remember her name. We ordered drinks- all good and then some spinach dip. It was excellent it stayed hot the whole time and was delicious. We also ordered some flatbreads. The BBQ chicken was excellent, my favorite. The chicken avocado flatbread was a little plain and needed some extra taste to it. We had a good time and good food.

The service was slow and poor. When we arrived, we waited several minutes at the host station before anyone even said hello. When we were seated, no one brought us water or bread for over fifteen minutes. They werent busy, just negligent apparently. Finally, we ordered our meal, including an appetizer. After over 20 minutes without bread (still) or appetizer, we were done and walked out. The only reason Im not giving one star is because the location really is quite beautiful. Edit: I almost forgot to mention that the table wasnt even clean when the hostess seated us. She brushed some lettuce off the table with her hand, and then I needed to brush some sort of candy off of my chair from the previous guest.

The first time I ate at Pinstripes, I went to their Barrington, IL location and the food and service was really good. Therefore, I invited my friend to come with me to the Chicago location. THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! I saw my waiter maybe three times. He did not even take our orders, a trainee did! I had the Seafood Tagliatelle and it was awful! I thought if I ate around the noodles that the seafood would be better but it still was not very appetizing. My waiter did not come by enough for me to ask for another dish. However, their drinks, lobster bisque, and stuffed mushrooms were really good. I was just really disappointed in the service. If I had a better waiter, my experience would have been a lot better.

My boyfriend and I were there on the fourth of July and had a great experience. We were down on navy pier which was pack full and we were very hungry. We found Pinstripes and it was the best, im very happy we came here. We had about 5-6 different waiters/waitresses come and check us. The service was excellent, we received our food within 15-20 minutes of ordering and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the monday special, chopped salad was great and the spaghetti had a great taste. My boyfriend had a burger and fries and he loved it. I would definitely come back here and would recomend this place to anyone!
