I have done 3 interstate moves using national companies and never had a bad experience until I hired Reebie/Allied. I did my due diligence and had 2 other of the major companies come in to do estimates. I chose Reebie because they assured me there would be 1 driver/1 truck. This was essential. When making an interstate move you want your things moved into the truck and out of the truck once to reduce the chance of damage. Sometimes they use a shuttle to bring your things to the warehouse and then have them loaded onto the18 wheeler for the big drive to your destination. They assured me I would have the 1 truck/driver. Since I had a positive experience will Allied (in another state) in the past, their pricing was competitive and I liked Bill (Estimator), I went with them. CONTRACT Then the mistakes started. The Order of Service (contract) had to be rewritten several times due to mistakes on their end and unclear wording of payment. These rewrites then caused communication breakdowns within their team. Packers showed up a day earlier than scheduled, a company called to schedule the building of a crate that had been removed from the Order but no one told them. A hassle when you have a thousand things going on, but not a big deal in the scheme of things. MOVING DAY A shuttle showed up. Yes, a shuttle. Exactly what I did not want and was assured I would not get. Not the 18 wheeler that was going to drive my belongings the 1000 miles. And it wasnt my driver, it was a local crew. I give the corporate office credit for taking my calls in the moment of crisis, but they had no explanation and there was no solution. I had no choice if I was going to move that day. I had to have the local crew load my things onto the shuttle and take them to the warehouse for the main driver to load onto his truck. I resolved myself to this reality and let them proceed. INCOMPETENT LOCAL CREW I started seeing some of my furniture being loaded only half wrapped in blankets.... leaving sections of chairs, tables, etc exposed. I ended up having to inspect everything leaving my front door and having them rewrap a good portion of my furniture. Then I happened to look in the truck and saw a couple pieces of my furniture were actually not wrapped at all!!! I was told they ran out of blankets. Yup, they loaded it without blankets because they ran out. Now how was that not going to be damaged!!! Once again, called corporate office and they had blankets sent out. Had to wait 45 minutes. DELIVERY By then my move was red flagged and the manager would take it from there to make sure it went smoothly. Well, she was telling me of these special steps that were being taken to ensure my belongings would arrive in good order. Only to find out from another employee that it was protocol. I told her this and never heard from her again. I was back in the hands of the coordinator. Now theres a good manager. The driver was fantastic and called me throughout the delivery span to ensure me everything was on schedule. They arrived on the scheduled date and were even an hour early. They were incredibly efficient, careful, friendly and went above and beyond in helping me set some things up. Couldnt have asked for more. DAMAGES And yes, there were damages. Two pieces were beyond repair. The company was effective in resolving my claim and I appreciate that. But I can assure you if this team was competent and I had my 1 truck/driver, I wouldnt have had 5 pieces of furniture damaged! They get a fair rating from me vs. poor for addressing my issues as they arose, the driver and delivery experience, and resolving my claim to my satisfaction in a timely manner. But with that said, I would not recommend the company.

After retiring last summer, I sold my home in Chicago and undertook a very complicated and challenging series of moves that involved dividing up my entire household into two separate moves to opposite ends of the country (Stamford, CT and Tucson, AZ). The items moving to Connecticut had to be even further broken down into two separate stops (my condo and my sons home). The packing crew chief, Martin, quickly understood which items were going to which of the three locations and he managed to keep everything separated and organized so that nothing was sent to the wrong destination. When it came to packing, Martin and his team did an absolutely outstanding job wrapping and packing up all my delicate items such as crystal, china, glassware, figurines and artwork. Every single fragile item made it to the designated final destination without any damage or breakage and every box was accounted for. The crew also took great care in wrapping my furniture and even built boxes on site to handle odd-shaped items and artwork. My Tucson relocation proved to be the more challenging of the two moves - I live in a mountainous area and my driveway was so steep that the delivery crew had to use hand carts and wheel every item up to the house in the Arizona heat. Despite the logistical issues they faced, the driver and his crew were extremely professional and courteous and did an excellent and careful job getting every box and the heavy furniture pieces into the house. The only issues I had with the Tucson move were some minor scratches and dings on a few pieces of furniture. I was instructed to file a claim and I was immediately contacted by Mira who was extremely helpful and efficient. She promptly identified a local furniture refinisher and asked them to contact me to come out to repair the damage. She even followed up with me to make sure that I heard from the furniture repair shop and that they had scheduled an appointment to come out and perform the work (they had and did an excellent job). I normally do not write reviews, but I was extremely impressed with the responsiveness and customer service I received from the entire Reebie team during every phase of my relocation. I knew that there would be a tremendous amount of stress and angst involved in undertaking two major moves all at once, but I can honestly say that Reebie exceeded my expectations and made this experience as painless as possible. I highly recommend Reebie to anyone who is contemplating a major move or any relocation that requires special handling.

Reebie sales side was very professional. Bill Reuking made me feel at ease with the move and answered any and all questions without delay. The management on the Chicago side was excellent as well coordinating the move. The packing crew meticulous and very professional. The goods arrived to Seattle a few days before planned ... even better! So what could be wrong..... And then the goods came off the truck....Damages, damages, damages. The goods were moved on and off four different trucks between Chicago and Seattle - despite being told it would be one truck during the sale. The delivery crew did not want to check the inventory of the 300+boxes moved. They told me to trust me that everything made it. I insisted that all be inventoried against the bill of lading. At which point the female driver huffed and puffed and said they didnt have time. To further discourage me she said all furniture would unwrapped in the middle of the street and brought in without protection and then proceeded to bash my bed frame and crack the headboard in the entrance door. She turned to me and said see I told you so! I purchased $100,000 worth of insurance to cover very expensive furniture, paintings and bike to make sure in case something went wrong I will be covered full replacement value. Unfortunately Reebie claim that they did not damage anything despite photographic evidence with before and after photos showing otherwise. Mira in the claims department is hopeless. Promises to get back to you in a couple days. A week later nothing. After ring and emailing several more times she says she needs another week! I am now left with over $21,000 worth of heavily damaged goods which Reebie will not repair/replace. Reebie have gone completely silent say they will no longer speak with me. As for my friend Bill Reuking the attentive salesman - he gives me email addresses and tells me to try someone else. When asked for a postal address or phone number to contact these people directly .... silence. I should listened to other reviews. I have had to cancel the charge on my credit card and despite getting the $7900 back on the move from my bank I have lost $13,000 more in damaged goods. Reebie Allied do their best to get your business, but once they have it they dont care. If something goes wrong they dont want to know you - especially Bill Reuking. He wants you out of his hands as fast as possible. Truly disappointing.
