They were EXCELLENT! We asked them to be at her house between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. We had a tight window for the move-in. The building she was moving to has three elevators for the residents and one would be locked for our move-in until 11:30 AM. At that time lunch is served and they needed all three elevators for the residents. So it was wonderful when USA Movers showed up at 8:05 AM. Even though we were paying by the hour, they moved swiftly, which was a relief. They padded and wrapped and fully protected everything we gave them to move. They were loaded and ready to leave by 9:15 AM. We were thrilled. But, when they arrived at the senior living center, a truck was blocking the service entrance. A resident there was doing an unscheduled and unauthorized move-out. We were livid. We were told the truck would be moving soon. Well, soon turned into 30 minutes. Our USA Movers were great. They pulled up as close to the service entrance as they could and started bringing things in as best they could. By 10:30 AM the other truck moved and our guys really hustled. They had her completely moved in by 11:20 AM. Unbelievable! I was so pleased with them, I gave all of them a generous tip. They earned it! Used them AGAIN on 4/25/16. This time to take the same items to a smaller assisted living apartment and then to take the items that wouldnt fit back to the original location. Once again, they performed flawlessly. Everything was wrapped carefully. We had to keep some items separate because we were going to two delivery locations. Worked like a charm! And their rates are VERY competitive. Dont give it a second thought. BOOK THEM NOW!

I move a lot. I moved out of a high-rise in the loop and into a storage locker in Skokie in November 2015. I had told them that I need to get stuff out of the boxes to utilize my storage locker and they stacked it around the perimeter of the locker and then in the middle as if I had hired professional organizers it was awesome. In March 2015 I moved my stuff out of the storage locker back into a high-rise in uptown and in November 2016 moved out of that high-rise and into a house - far burbs. I used USA moving for all three of these moves. They are super fast work the entire time theyre there and protect all of my belongings a little bit ridiculous with the protection but I would rather have them over cautious. The first 2 moves were done in under the minimum time of two hours the third move which included an hour and a half travel time and taking apart and putting together furniture and also putting some in the basement and some on the second story of the house still only took six hours. In November 2014 I tried 2 men and a truck that was the worst experience ever took 7 1/2 hours a 1 hour drive, hardly any furniture meaning only a couple of dressers which they did not wrap and dropped coming down the ramp because they were not careful, drawers came flying out and busted apart I had to glue back together and they were never the same of course. Moving is stressful enough - who wants to pay for movers that do not get the job done. If you want a moving company that is fast professional and careful go with USA moving. Ive also recommended them to three of my friends and all have had positive experiences.

I have used USA a number of times now, most recently for a big move with my wife during late December 2015. We did a local move with about 80 boxes and tubs, plus a whole house of furniture and a PACKED garage. These guys did such an amazing job--I just cant say enough good things about our experience. When the team arrived, I explained that, although we did a really good job packing up the house, we eventually ran out of room to work in the garage...so they gladly packed the garage for us and they did a really nice job of protecting my tools and hardware, etc. They were very professional and the foreman was completely supportive of all my requests and special considerations for certain delicate items. They laid down blankets to protect the floor before they touched anything at all, and they wrapped every single piece of furniture in blankets and shrink wrap. They also handled all the furniture dis-assembly and reassembly. With all of that work, they still managed to get the house cleared out in only a few hours. When we got to the new house, they brought everything in carefully and again laid down blankets to make sure they didnt damage or even dirty the floors. They worked with us to place the furniture exactly where we wanted it in all of the rooms, and they placed all of the boxes in the rooms that we had labeled them for. I experienced total professionalism from the team and the foreman along with fast and damage-free service. We also felt that we received a very fair deal for the work. I would definitely recommend USA Moving and Storage to a friend. Thank you!

I shopped around and read reviews on Yelp, and ended up settling on USA Moving and Storage. Their reviews were decent and the price quote was a market rate (or slightly under) for 4 guys and a truck. My move was complicated because we were moving myself and my wife out of two different apartments and into one. On top of that, we lived in elevator buildings in which we needed to block off specific times to reserve the loading dock. This requirement made the timing of the move key. The guys arrived within 10 minutes of when they said they would be there. Thats "on-time" in my book. They went to work right away and used blankets and packing tape for all of my furniture and miscellaneous things that I neglected to pack in boxes (fans/lamps/etc). We filled the truck completely (dont remember the size) and drove to the new place. Unloading went very quickly and the guys didnt take any breaks for cigarettes, lunch, or otherwise. In all, they completely finished the job in 2.5 hours. It helped that we were moving to an apartment only 2 blocks away, which kept transit time down, but I still thought that 2.5 hours was amazingly fast given how much stuff they moved and that they had to wait for elevators at both places. Because of the short time it took to move and the speed with which the 4-man crew worked, my move came in under-budget by ~$200. I would definitely recommend USA Moving and Storage to family and friends; however, I suppose it all depends on which crew you get.

Ive used USA Moving & Storage for my last move, and loved them - they were fast and nothing was broken. I recommended them to anyone who was moving. Nope, never again.We used them to moved last week. We were told itd take 4-5 hours...it took them 7.75 hours to move us out and into our new place. There is absolutely no way this move should have taken this long. Everything was packed. Yet, somehow they used and charged us for 20 rolls of tape. They even wasted tape on totes with locking lids. Instead of leaving the sofa pillows on the sofa, like has been done every other time Ive moved, they put them in a box, at our expense of course. Last move they had us leave DVDs, and paperwork in 2 pieces of furniture...not this time. They decided to unload them and dump everything into boxes. They took apart every single piece of furniture. Two twin bed frames from IKEA that I can carry myself were taken apart and secured with tape that we had to pay for. It took them FOREVER to get our furniture apart. I left at the same time they did, Google said it should take 16 minutes, it took me 18 and I had a car load of fragile stuff. It took them 45 minutes! Then it came time for them to put the furniture back together. It was like watching paint dry. It took one guy 45 minutes to attach an oak chopping block top to the base, when it should have taken him 5 minutes. I was able to build the thing originally, in under that time. They are slow and drive the price up.
