I wish I could give them more stars! My personal moving experience with King David Movers have made me be speechless! This is why. I used King David Movers for a small move I had to coordinate on behalf of my parents a couple months ago, they are senior citizens and I was so impressed. I think the words Professionalism, Extremely Great, and Fantastic were made for these movers! That is why I said I wish I could give them more stars! As my personal life being a Doctor, it is absolutely difficult for us to keep up with our personal schedule because all our time belongs to our patients! However, I knew which company I was hiring; however, King David Movers were amazingly very patient with me re-arranging my schedule. I made recent reservation with them and this time moving from 4 bedroom+ worth of items to another 4 bedrooms. They were extremely fast and efficient, and did not waste a minute of time. They took great care of our possessions, and were very careful with the way they wrapped our furniture. We had a few items that were antiques and the movers were great about making sure they took great care of our belongings. Everything arrived at our new place in great condition! The move was completed in no time less than what I anticipated honestly, which was fantastic! I am speechless, I cannot thank you and your team enough! I could not recommend enough! We will definitely be using your moving services for all future moves and I highly recommend King David Movers! THANK YOU KING DAVID MOVING FOR MAKING OUR MOVE AS EASY AS POSSIBLE!

I chose this company based on all the 5 stars it has. Later I realized that most of the reviews are filtered and suspicious to made up by the owner. So I got a call from king david moving and we estimated a time of 3-3.5 hours for my move based on the info that I gave. I did a quick comparison and found that these guys were the cheapest, so I went ahead with them. There boys arrived at our place and did a quick inspection. They estimated 5.5 hours (as opposed to 3 hours). I blindly signed the agreement without questioning that and thinking that these guys will be fast in wrapping up stuff; and that 5.5 hours is worst case.. It took long time for these guys to wrap up stuff and took all 5.5 hours to finish it. One of those guys was dumb and wasnt fast enough to take lead and move things faster. I finally had to step in and start helping these guys. At the end I got billed for those 5.5 hours and top of that $124 for a minor stretch wrap, bubble wrap and 2 boxes that they used. These guys give all special offers and what not, but dont fall prey to that and choose a company that can give you a flat rate for your move. When you choose it hourly, they are likely to ripppp you off like this. I estimated my move to be $300, and I ended up paying $600.. not a good start in my new house for sure because of those guys..

I used King David to move from the burbs back to Chicago about three years ago and loved them. They arrived on time, with a good attitude and went right to work. They efficiently took my large desk apart and later put it together without any issues. They wrapped everything well and nothing was damaged. They called me as I was driving to my new place and asked me for my eta because they were already at the loading dock (highrise) and needed to get into the apartment! I was shocked that they beat me to the door as the company I had previously used had me waiting for almost an hour and explained that it was usual because they had to avoid the tolls. When I got to the door of my apartment they already had a load waiting and were just as quick and efficient in getting everything in place. They even indulged me when I asked them to move furniture more than once because I wasnt quite sure where I wanted it. They do charge extra for tape, but they only use what they need so it doesnt make the quote go up much at all. All in all the best moving experience Ive had and I plan to use them again. -- UPDATE (8/1/14): I used them again to move back to the burbs and the experience was again excellent.

I was referred to King David Moving Company by one of my best friends, Emily, so I decided to use them for my move when I got into a new town home at the Fox lake location. It wasnt too far from where I used to live (approximately fifteen minutes). King David gave me a very reasonable price at that time comparing to other moving companies! I had a lot of school supplies, old books and book shelves. I asked them to provide me with twenty extra lager boxes to pack up all my old books and other school supplies items ahead of time. They kindly offered me to do the service of packing, but I thought to do it myself so I would know which book is in which box also I needed to help them as well to speed up the process of move. The move went so well and everything worked out the way they said it’s going to happen. I was very happy to have them and I couldn’t have asked more than what they provided to me!

I was referred to King David Moving Company by Better business Bureau (BBB) organization, so I decided to use them for my move when I purchased a new town house at the Fox lake location. It wasnt too far from where I used to live (approximately fifteen minutes). They gave me a very reasonable price at that time comparing to other moving company! I had a lot of school supplies, old books and book shelves. I asked them to provide me with twenty extra lager boxes to pack up all my old books and other school supplies items ahead of time. They offered me to do the service of packing, but I refused since I like to do it on my own as I usually do to speed up the process of move. The service from this company is absolutely awful. I would never hire them. They showed up over 4 hours late both on both days. When they asked us what furniture we had we told them everything and then brought us a truck that was half full already and did not fit all of our furniture. We actually couldnt even fit a couple pieces in and had to find our own way to get them moved. When talking about this issue with them they blamed it on us. They damaged a few pieces of furniture and even hit our house with their moving truck and damaged part of our siding. When you try to call the manager with any issues he does not ever answer or call you back. When we finally did get ahold of him to ask him why his movers were so late he hung up on us. They are not a local business like they try to tell you when you book them. DO NOT HIRE.
