in the past, the last 3 times we moved we had family and friends help us. we decided this time to hire someone to move us so we wouldnt have all the stress - wow were we wrong. they gave us a quote over the phone. it ended up costing us 1200 $ over the quote. we had 2 trucks and 4 guys. they arrived at the old house at 8am and neither of the trucks arrived at the new house until 8pm to start unloading. they were still unloading at 12:30 am - it was ridiculous. they did not have any lights to see so their 2 wheel carts were falling off the ramp of the truck (along with our stuff that was on those carts) - everyone was using their lights on their phones to see - I had a lot of damage, including damage to antiques and missing items - but, unfortunately I couldnt PROVE they did it. - I feel they need to come to the residence and quote it out - my move cost me over $3500 from Kenosha to Racine. the movers were really nice and I had no problem with them other than when everything was said and done and we were disputing the charges and found out they are actually paid by the hour and this explains why things moved so slowly - this was one of the most horrible experiences in my life =we hired what we thought were professionals to make this experience a stress-free experience - whoa it was a nightmare. dealing with the office people was the worst - I knew we were in trouble when the guy came out to look at the damages and wanted to write down the serial number from the pieces of furniture - serial number? there wasnt even social security numbers when these pieces was made -totally unprofessional and had no knowledge - would NEVER use them again - it cost us a lot, but we learned a lot through this experience

I chose Two Men and Truck over less expensive quotes hoping for a stress free experience. It was not. The driver was late, belligerent, and rude- going so far as to threaten to not complete our move even though we had paid a substantial deposit. We were told a time window of between 8-9, which was not met nor did they seem to have any intention of meeting it. The driver indicated he does not even arrive to work until 8:30 and then has to prepare the truck. He also indicated he had no intention of coming initially because I had missed his call and taken 10 minutes to call the office back. Again, when I pay a deposit I expect the service to show up, whether or not I can promptly answer my phone at work. The driver did make some attempt to apologize to my husband after the move, but overall this poor quality of service was not worth the money.

I packed majority of my stuff and I had them wrap the bigger furnitures and unfortunately they did a horrible job wrapping. I constantly see more more damage to my furniture every time Im cleaning something. I noticed something else has been broken or ripped off or torn! . The ones I packed said fragile and still they managed to break something. They are the worst movers I have ever experience, and I have moved many time out of state. The movers even made me feel like I was getting a great deal $$$ and one of the movers kept telling me that they would have charged more for all the stuff I had, so I made sure they got a huge tip. The damage I continually find, I wish I never gave them such a generous tip!! Or a tip at all. Dont use them for out of state moves. Youll regret it.

I just completed my second moving experience using the Two Men and a Truck in Racine, and I seriously wonder who would ever use anyone else? The guys were friendly, professional, and funny. They were in and out even faster than I would have ever guessed, and they were more cost effective than if Id hired some guys cheap and rented my own truck. They beat the estimate by half, but Ill also say that everything in my house was prepd, labeled, boxed, and easily accessible. Everything was perfect on arrival, they took great care of even my cheap furniture, and I they were constantly making sure I was getting just what I needed where I needed it. I cannot recommend these folks more highly!

Ive used these guys multiple times and theyve always done an excellent job. Taking care to wrap leather furniture, moving very heavy and awkward pieces through tight places without causing any damage to furniture, walls, doors, etc. And their pricing very fair. They came-in right where estimated and worked hard enough to deserve a tip on top of it. *As long as Im here sharing this, Ill warn against Norby & Sons who damaged some furniture, denied it and were rude about it afterward. I wish I had done a review on them then, its been several years and Ill never go back.
