I booked a move on this Friday (04/03/2016) for Saturday (04/04/2016) and I was very surprised they had an opening at shut short notice. The information was given to book a 10 room single family home, but according to the "recorded phone call", information was given for a 3 bedroom move. The movers did arrive on time, but only 2 movers arrived. I contacted the company and was told that I could have 2 extra movers at the price of $278.00 per hour and they would arrive by 12 noon. I explained to the guy "extra movers", 2 movers was not sufficient to handle a 10 room single family home move and I would not be paying for movers that they should have been scheduled considering the size move. The 2 movers never showed, I had to call the company in order to receive an explanation and then I was told I was to request the amount of movers and trucks I needed for the job. I scheduled a move on a day that was fully booked although the young lady stated to me all of the openings for that day and they were obviously not booked. The following Monday I received a call regarding the complaints of the move and was told the call was listened to (only the initial call that was made, not all the calls that were made regarding the total move from Saturday to Sunday)and information was only given for 3 bedrooms. The guy then asked me how many rooms were moved even though I am still moving items today from this move. This company cannot be trusted and now I am out of $1500.00 for an incomplete move. Very unprofessional and they are all about the money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DO YOUR HOMEWORK OR YOU WILL BE UNDER-SERVICED AND OVERCHARGED.

We were quoted 3 hours and they told us that it gets done even faster sometimes. Instead, it took 6 hours and they broke several of our things. They arrived at 12:20 and began moving things. Toward the end, it really felt like they were dragging their feet. When it came time to move everything to the new apartment, they said they were going to stop for red bulls first. We left after them and still ended up waiting for 20 minutes at the apartment. At this point, we told them that we only had the freight elevator until 6:00 - which was over two hours and it was already past the time that they quoted they would have been finished. Our things came up VERY slowly, and not surprisingly, they finished at 5:55. Obviously I feel like they took as long as they possibly could. When they finally charged us, they charged us from 12:00 pm, twenty minutes before they arrived! We were quoted 3 hours, around 500.00, and it ended up costing us 1,000! I was handed a box that had water coming out of it while they moved our stuff. Two, 20 year old snow globes were completely smashed, even though we bubble wrapped everything VERY well and marked the box fragile - glass on every side. After they left, we found two other boxes marked fragile with broken things inside as well. DO NOT USE The prices seem fair, but only if they finish when they say they will and dont break your things.

Hands down the worst experience ever. Not only was I misquoted with an estimate $306, the actual cost was $560... Thats right, almost double the estimate. Now when I think of an estimate, Im thinking theyd be $100 off, give or take, but close to double?! I dont think so. Then to top it all off the movers damaged a $2,000 sofa (HOLES, yes more than one, in the upholstery) by trying to shove it through a doorway that it didnt fit through (unwrapped), and scratched my 50" plasma (also unwrapped whilst moving up and down the stairs). Currently Im in dispute with the company and am disputing the charges because instead of trying to resolve this, they went ahead and charged my account. Good thing I didnt pay in cash up front and used a credit card, because I will not be paying $560 for poor service... Did I mention that I was helping the movers move? Literally carrying stuff in and out of the truck. Im not a hateful person, but I feel comfortable saying I HATE Two Men and a Truck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The good: 1. They were on time 2. They were friendly 3. They brought their own stretch wrap for furniture They bad: 1. They dented my apartment door as they were moving a couch and scratched up some walls 2. They left my bookshelf pegs in my old apartment so I was unable to put the shelves back on until my landlord returned those to me 3. They did not pack a glass table properly so it chipped. 4. They lost a screw to my bed so that it could not be assembled safely 5. They took twice as long as they initially quoted me (nearly doubling the fee) even after I told them what needed to be moved and had the entire apartment boxed up and waiting by the door (minus furniture) 6. They had trouble following directions of what needed to go and what needed to stay even though they were put in labeled piles. 7. They had some issues with stacking heavy things on bottom and light things on top Overall really a bad and expensive moving experience. I would not use them again.

zero stars. screwed up my entire move. the truck driver didnt know how to drive, took him 2.5 hrs to go 17 miles, never answered his phone calls, and we missed our move-in window (we had a 2 hr window that we easily should have made). then they ruined all of my items. ive been trying to reconcile with the company for 5 weeks trying to get my insurance reimbursement, and theyre completely unresponsive, except for the fact that they were able to charge my credit card the $800 for the move, which is being disputed. As a result, Ive been going out of my way to NOT recommend this group. Overall, most of the moving crew were nice, normal people, but management is horrible and lacks credibility. I wouldnt be surprised if they went out of business soon.

I had a wonderful experience with my team! They were so careful with all of my things and made me feel at ease when I was so stressed. I have used other companies but I will always use Two Men and a Truck from now on! I cannot say enough about the team who moved me! City moves are really tough and they were just great dealing with getting insurance documents to the buildings in advance, finding my freight elevators, navigating long hallways, and getting everything done on time. They were more careful than me about protecting my new floors and they were so efficient. 5+ stars for Two Men and a Truck!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. They sent two people that were excessively slow, which took two extra hours. They dropped and destroyed a piece of my furniture and they took a huge gash out of my ceiling. On top of that, they did not make us whole on the furniture (offered us $254 on a $600+ piece of furniture, they have offered to pay "theyre estimated cost" of the ceiling and weve had to deal with back and forth with the moving company. If you dont want to add days upon days of work on your end of things and hundreds of dollars in extra cost...go with a more reputable company.
