I went into the branch at Staffing now on 200 W. Adams St. yesterday and actually was very impressed. Ive been off of the market for years and this is my first time interviewing without any type of networking in years, and in addition I am very new to the temp, contract to hire industry. The first few places that I had gone too were very professional but to a flaw. At the previous places, I got a sense of being apart of a human body mill rather than having someone genuinely interested in helping me find a suitable position that would increase my professional growth. After dealing with rude receptionists, agents looking at numbers rather than the person, mis-communications and unrealistic goals set by the staff, it was a pure joy to go to Staffing Now. Right from the get go, the reception was very warm, even though there was a frenzy of people and paperwork going at both of the ladies at the front desk. In addition to that, their paperwork was very thorough and the benefits offered were outstanding. After completing this, when taking the tests, their was an IT issue, but they responded quickly with grace and smiles and the problem was fixed and handles extremely fast, even though their office was really jumping that day. Then after meeting the recruiter, Jim, he was straightforward, warm, personable and gave wonderful realistic insight into the job market, what they could do and what they can offer in such a volatile market while also providing me with more information to make sure that I was fully informed. Personally, I would highly recommend this agency to my friends, of whom are also top executive professionals, Directors, etc. Their great attitude, personable service, realistic approach in this market and attention to detail while still making the candidates feel like they are valuable additions to the company instead of a human mill makes Staffing Now at 200 W. Adams stand out to me as a great place to look into during this market slump.

I have been to many temp agencies who are very snooty, disorganized and unreliable. Staffing Now has helped me out AND many of my friends in finding work during these tough economic times. They are extremely prompt and a tremendously organized team. As for the people who gave negative reviews - any company, including a temp agency, will only hire people who make a great impression and who are professional, personable, and qualified. I have worked closely with this agency on a few assignments and I know they will only choose the best applicants for their clients. If you do good for them, they will do good for you.

I did a preliminary interview with them and was told I was an excellent candidate. They were going to call me back in two days. They didnt, so I called back and left a message. Never heard from them again. And the receptionists are snotty.

I agree with the ladies at the front desk being unprofessional. The counselor seemed to be nice, but then he never returned any of my calls. Not impressed with this agency
