When I was relocating, I had great difficulty finding a new place to live. I decided to try PODS since a classmate recommended them and I didnt want to rent a truck, unload my stuff into storage (which I would have needed to find), rent my new apartment, rent a truck, unload the storage unit, and finally move my belongings into my new place. PODS made all of this very convenient. The driver who delivered my POD was very personable and assured me it would be okay to load considering the slope of my driveway. The POD was picked up on the scheduled date and went into storage. Most of my furniture made the ride w/o any damage. I can only blame myself if it was not packed well. I would recommend that once you know your new address, to schedule the delivery as soon as you can. I delayed calling them, so w/ the winter holidays there was a slight delay in getting my POD delivered to the new address. If I had called a week earlier, I would have had it sooner. I also feel the price is competitive w/ other pod companies and much better than moving companies. I would use PODS again.

PODS is refusing to pick up my empty container and trying to charge an extra months rent. I was scheduled for pick-up on 6/8 and they never showed up. Now that want to leave it in my driveway until 6/18 because they claim to be completely booked through mid-July. They act like they are doing me a favor only leaving it there for 10 more days. Customer service refuses to let me speak to a supervisor or anybody local. And, they keep trying to get me to call back later versus handling the problem.

We used PODS for our most recent move. The POD was delivered fine, but none of the 30 blankets we requested were included. It took 3 days for PODS to figure out that this location was in fact out of blankets, and that none would in fact be delivered. They did issue a refund for the blankets but we lost 3 packing days waiting around for communication.

Arrived timely. Held a lot of basement tables, chairs, furniture...tools, another bedroom from upstairs. My work office. Paints etc
