When moved to a smaller place we needed more room ,so we decided to try a storage unit. We live close to Life Storage so that was our choice. we have never been happier with the choice. Bob (my husband) goes over at least once every other month to either store or retrieve something. The place is always clean and I like that we can pull the car into the garage area especially when it rains. Our unit is dust free and we feel our goods are in a safe place. Never had a problem.

This is the second time that we have used LifeStorage of Elgin. The place is very clean, well monitored, energy efficient and the staff is very polite. It is easy to get in and out of, and there are carts there to help with moving items as well. This storage spot is out of our way, but we prefer to use it due to it being climate controlled, and SO CLEAN! We dont feel that we have to worry about anything when we have items stored here.

I have had my storage unit here since 2009 and I have had such a great experience at the Elgin location LIFE STORAGE. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rates barely have gone up any since I have been here. They are low rates as it is. The Elgin Facility is clean and secure. I plan to stay here for at least another 2 years before I move again. Thank you LIfe Storage ELGIN for making this a pleasant business experience.

Was transitioning between homes and had to get 2 large units, both indoor. Facility is clean and staff is friendly. The main loading area is covered, so very convenient when its raining, snowing, or even crazy hot outside. The only con is there is only room for one vehicle, so its first come, first serve. Price is also reasonable, highly recommend.

This was my first experience in purchasing a storage unit. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding how certain items should be stored. The facility is very nicely maintained and access to my storage unit can be accessed up to 11:00pm. I would recommend LifeStorage of Elgin to all my friends.

My storage unit started at 190.00 a month and ended up being 320.00 by the time I left. They constantly raise their monthly rates and take advantage of people looking for longer term storage solutions.
