My issue is they offer you a free training session when you join. I know my health is no laughing matter hence why I joined the gym but trying to force a training membership down my throat when I need to go through expenses so I dont overdraft my account is also serious. Whomever was managing the trainer pricing etc doesnt need to be so rude. He literally bit my head off because I said I needed to balance my checkbook to see if I could afford it. My health is important but so is my rent so I have somewhere to sleep at night. Im really reconsidering my membership here now because of this. I only go there because its close to work. If I wasnt serious about my health I wouldnt have paid to join a gym. Then to judge me and ask me how much fast food I eat because Im overweight when ACTUALLY I eat VERY healthy. I have to help pay my parents bills but all you care about is commission. I am EXTREMELY baffled at the way I was treated. My trainer was amazing and kind the ONLY reason I added one more star. Whomever that guy was.... wow just plain forceful and rude.

In fact is a nice and clean gym. Lighting is also better then other LA Fitness. But too many corners cut when putting up this gym. Lacking in many areas. No sauna, no hot tub, no squash court, no towels, no shampoo/lotion/body wash in shower, cramped basketball court, not enough weight and cardio machines, and small free weight area. Every area in this gym is lacking compared to every other LA Fitness within Chicago area. 3 more miles south on York and you got a complete LA Fitness with everything Elmhurst doesnt have. Would not recommend this gym if you can go to any other LA Fitness. Not getting your moneys worth.

Gym itself is really nice. My issue is that the sales rep wont stop calling me to try to schedule a "free" personal training session that I dont want. Ditto that some guy tried to sell me supplements that I told him I wasnt comfortable talking. I think he worlds for gnc, and I dont like that theyre at the gym pushing questionable products with the full backing of the gym.

Beautiful gym! My girlfriend and i went in there and was very unsure of joining this gym because of the mixed reviews. However the staff made us feel very welcomed. We worked with the Fitness Director Matt who is unbelievable with his knowlege. Highly recomend this gym!

Terrible customer service and communication of management team and sales reps! They processed a membership that I didnt want while I was on a guest pass and refused to help even though the problem was on their end. No customer satisfaction. Go somewhere else.

Nice, new facility. I am always able to find an open cardio machine. Weight room isnt overly crowded. Staff may still be finding their stride as it just opened. Ps I really enjoyed the Zumba class on Monday nights - great instructor.

2 stars because of size of the gym. Becareful with personal trainers, they try make you sign a contract that you cant get out for something that is really not worth it. 24hrs fitness has a much better deal of you looking for help.

Bad customer service! We were helped out by a woman named Krystal who was very rude and sarcastic to us as we helped sign up another family member. Very disappointed with this experience, thats not how you treat new members..

The place is brand new. Awesome equipment. But i decided not to get a membership because a team member there kept harassing me with phone calls. If I want to join, Ill call you. I dont need a call every other day.

As far as the gym goes, I like it. However, the personal training manager got mad and laughed at me, claiming I didnt know anything about weight loss because I wanted to cancel my high cost personal training sessions.

I was very excited when they open because I live 2 min from it but Im very disiponied now!Classes are cancel all the time...instructors late...today 25 min late!!!This place need new manager as soon as pasible!!!

Hours are decent. 5am-11pm weekdays. 8am-8pm weekends. Not overcrowded like other gyms in the area. Has basketball pool and PEOPLE ACTUALLY RERACK THE WEIGHTS PROPERLY. Clean and tidy and only 30 bucks a month

They keep taking money out of my bank account even though I am not a member. I dont even live in the area and I have made multiple attempts to resolve this. I have no choice, but to involve the police.

I was the DJ for the grand opening and was in awe of this place. It is a beautiful and state of the art club with a fantastic staff. Needless to say, I immediately signed up after finishing my work.

this is very new. new equipment. very clean. two floors, cardiovascular on second floor, weights machines on ground floor. will make this my main gym now.

Not as good for member ship payed in that area like the glendale heights one better
