I joined just to review Lake City. I am a very patient and understanding person, so trust my review when I say my experience with Lake City is the worst I have ever had with a company offering professional services. Very short summary: 1. Customer service is terrible; they leave you standing at the desk for 15 mins 2. I was told to come back 4 times for my item "we promise it will be ready tomorrow", turned out to be a lie 4 times 3. They had my item for 3 weeks 4. The guy who does tailoring there, Donald, is a total waste of space 5. My item was not even cleaned when I finally picked it up

Used to like it but got tired of being overcharged (i.e. charged for boxed service or dry cleaning even though I asked for wash and hang shirts) and tired of the crappy customer service - two staff members in particular made it clear that they were annoyed to have to deal with customers

They did not get my dress shirts clean. They were not stained just slight dirt around the collar. I think they just ironed it. I showed it to them on spot and they said it wouldnt come out. I took to noyes the next day and they got it out.

Im surprised at the reviews. The ladies behind the counter have always been efficient, pleasant-and sometimes trade jokes. The Monarch cleaning process is costly but its always first quality. I give Lake City thumbs up!

They damaged two of my sports coats and their response was "I dont know what to tell you" and "what do you want me to do about it? It happens". She also asked me to call Boss (the manufacturer) and complain to them.

Lost my pants and were not apologetic. Did not try to look very much for them as it was "impossible to find them." I have not been re-imbursed yet and the owner is no where to be found

Very poor customer service. Not friendly. Rude, condecening and very abrupt with their inability to take care of basic dry cleaning tasks.
