Edit: After voicing my dissatisfaction by providing customer feedback through their online form I was promptly contacted to rectify the situation. It appears there was miscommunication regarding my satisfaction with how the situation was handled and the resolution that was offered. As a result, I have been promised to receive the unit I was originally quoted. Given this prompt response and willingness to ensure my satisfaction, I highly recommend Ravinia. Had Ravinia out to install a new complete HVAC system (Furnace, AC, humidifier, etc....the whole works). Installation went well however the AC unit I was quoted was not the AC unit I received. Instead I received a lower model unit. I specifically chose Ravinia because the AC unit they quoted me was what differentiated them from the other companies I was considering. Had I known that I was getting the lower model unit I would have not gone with Ravinia since their quote was significantly higher than other quotes I was considering. I have no complaints about their workmanship. However, I would recommend to anyone working with Ravinia to understand specifically the model number of the equipment youre quoted and verify it against the manufacturers information rather than trusting their internal naming convention for the equipment you are being quoted. Overall, I would recommend going with another company due to the experience I had with them and their pricing compared to other contractors in the area. In the end, I was out a significant amount of money due to a mistake on their end.

We have never used Ravinia before but we have used Bishop. I understand that Bishop was bought by Ravinia and is now the same company. My review is of Bishop services. We found Bishop about 4 years back when we had an issue with our furnace. A different company who used to do our cleanings told u to get it replaced. We called Bishop for an estimate and the person said he didnt think a new furnace was needed but a thorough cleaning. So instead of a new furnace we called a bishop staff for a cleaning and he was right. We are still using our old furnace and every year we have Bishop come out and service it. We really like their technicians, they are honest trustworthy and tell you exactly how it is. We even had them come out in an emergency last october when northshore gas was changing pipelines and said one of the outputs wasnt up to code. Once again great service from Bishop. We will continue using and recommending them to all our neighbours and friends in the aea

I had a clogged toilet. My usual tricks were to no avail. I called Ravinia, explaining that it was NOT on emergency--yet the technician was here the same day. He asked me a few questions, and immediately explained what the charge would be if he needed to bring in additional equipment. While my long experience with Ravinia has shown me that pricing is always fair and above board, it was just so nice to know exactly what the cost would be. Once he augered the toilet, he took the time to explain to me where the blockage was and how my well water--which is very well filtered--nevertheless could cause a build up of calcium and the like in the twists and turns of my fixture. We even discussed what the best choices would be if/when the time came to replace the toilet--both of us agreeing that these low slung designer toilets arent a favor to anyone!

Saturday at 1:00 I noticed water coming up from the floor drain in the basement, I called Ravinia and was told Ray was on another job, but could be over by 2:00. Needless to say I was thrilled that someone was available so quickly. Within a half hour Ray called me to say he was on his way and would be to my home shortly. When he arrived he was pleasant, remembered being at my house for other service before and he got to work rodding the sewer drain from the street toward the house. We talked while he worked and explained to me that roots are always growing and this maintenance should be done on a regular basis. I truly appreciate the prompt and efficient service on a Saturday afternoon. Thank you Ray and Ravinia Plumbing for being consistently dependable ! Your sincere service is appreciated.

I loved the staff and I love my hair. I have been using my stylist in Chicago for 7 years and have been traveling back and forth. I finally got the guys to find a stylist in Columbus. Annah was extremely focused on ensuring that my cut and color were perfect. She talked to me about my expectations and how I like to care for my hair. She spent a ton of time going through my different options and listening to how I like to style my hair. Throughout the color process she paid attention to every detail and was very focused on getting my hair perfect. Upon finishing we were both extremely happy with the product. A huge thanks to Annah. I am thrilled to have finally found a stylist in Columbus. I cant wait to see her again in 12 weeks.

Everything was perfect. We called on 5/11 about a leaking kitchen faucet and made an appt for the next day. We received a call stating that a plumber would be at our house in 10-15 minutes. I was leaving work (an hour late) and let the dispatcher know that I would be home about the same time. I received another call when I was three minutes from the house to let me know the plumber had arrived and hed wait for me. Chuck was extremely polite and friendly. He let me know exactly what to expect and he delivered on what he said. I decided to replace our kitchen faucet (which was probably close to 12 years old) rather than replace the leaking hose. I felt it was expensive, but I didnt want to have another part break again in the near future.

Had a recurrence of a problem I thought was addressed one month ago when kitchen line was rodded out. Ravinia could not have handled it better. They sent a man out to re-rod the line, and he concluded we needed a camera in the line to see what was going on. While I did not reach the office that Friday I reached them on Monday, and despite the office being swamped with emergencies due to weekend storms they were able to send a man out Monday afternoon to rod the line to the main sewer and to run a camera through both lines to see what was what. As of 24 hours later the problem seems to be resolved. I was not charged for the Friday visit and was charged the continuous service rate on Monday. Very appreciated.

A Ravinia service technician, Charlie, was here today to check out our furnace and boiler for winter. Charlie kept the appointment within the given "window." He was very professional and friendly -- made me feel very comfortable that our systems were being checked out and made safe for winter weather. Charlie was very informative about our old boiler and gave some good suggestions for future evaluation of its expected life. We are members of the Home Care Plan and are very happy with it -- it is a secure feeling to know that our needs and emergencies will be taken care of with a phone call. It was very easy to schedule the appointment and met my scheduling needs perfectly. Thank you Ravinia, and Charlie!

I appreciated the call to let me know the technician was on his way. He arrived in no time and was wonderfully polite and friendly, introducing himself. John Moran quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem, pulled out his handy dandy binder with pricing and gave me a quote. I asked a fee more questions about possibly replacing my toilet instead and John also quoted me on a new toilet install. I knew if I did that, Id want to re-do the whole bathroom though. We laughed and John told me you guys actually do bathroom remodels--which I did not know and may be helpful in the future! He fixed my toilet, wrote out the ticket, I wrote a check and he was out the door in less than an hour.
