While I was bargain shopping for a sewer and drainage company near the Skokie area, I came across North Coast Sewer and Drainage. I researched 11 different companies (in and out of Skokie) and set up 3 different free estimate visits. Eric is the specialist I spoke with when contacting North Coast and from the very beginning he was very informative and honest; which is not so easy to come by!! I explained how the drain in my basement was backed up and that whenever any of the faucets were turned on (including when the toilet was flushed) the problem would just get worse. When I called Eric for help he was already booked solid. I begged for him to stop by and take a look at the problem, wed been dealing with the problem for a couple of days trying to fix it ourselves at this point. Eric agreed to stop by and take a look. What he originally concluded would be the problem over the phone was indeed the issue he was staring at when he got to our home. I am not to savvy when it comes to plumbing/draining work but I can tell you that it was a flood control issue. Eric not only stopped by on a day when he was booked solid but he also fixed our issue!!! I can not tell you how grateful we were!!! I recommend that you and your family use North Coast Sewer and Drainage whenever you have an issue with your flood control, or any kind of issue with the drains in your home. This company is very helpful and efficient in solving your problems!!!

As a new home owner, we were shocked when we got water in the basement. We called another big company that diagnosed and claimed they fixed our issue, but the next morning it happened again. We called Eric and his crew. From the get-go, Eric was extremely professional and scoured every inch of house until he concluded that our piping was not the issue. He diagnosed seepage and explained everything in detail with easy to understand details and logic. Since getting rid of the national company and going with Eric, the issue has been fixed. Weve had some bigger rains and no water in our finished basement. We cannot recommend these guys enough and I wish I hadnt panicked and did my research first. Weve already named them as our "go-to" plumber. Their work is quality and the pricing is fair. They take their time to really clean up their mess and do their best to minimize any downtime to your home. Eric runs a tight ship and hiring him will be one of the best decisions you made.

I bought my first house last year and the plumbing in the basement has been a nightmare. Big thanks to the guys at North Coast for getting it back in order. First time I needed them they had to replace the main stack because it cracked underground. Free estimate, fair prices, great work. Then just recently I had a clay pipe collapse underground in another spot in the basement and this was an even bigger job than the last. Fair prices and great work again. I would recommend North Coast if you want a company that is knowledgeable, timely, friendly, and not just out for a quick buck.

North Coast responded very quickly to my request for an estimate. I knew there was a blockage to the main sewer drain, and I appreciate that they gave me a general idea of pricing over the phone. Eric worked fast, and still took the time to explain what he doing, and provided me with a lot of valuable information about how blockages occur and the best plan for staying ahead of tree roots. I felt like he was very honest with me and didnt suggest any unnecessary work. A great company that we will call again when the trees eventually find their way back in to our old sewer drain.

I called them up because I had water backing up into my basement, they quickly came out and surveyed the damage. They routed out my sewer because tree roots had grown in it. After 1 hour they had the water out of my basement! They also recommended a service I could do to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I will use them again if I have any other issues. I would highly recommend them for any sewer or drainage work that you need done!

Great Skokie plumbing company. I had a problem with a sewage line in my basement that caused a bit of flooding. They were able to locate the problem using their "snake" camera and dig right to the line they needed to rod and repair. Minimal damage to my property and they cleaned up, once again - thank you North Coast Family!
