My experience at this hospital was a bad one I went into labor and they didnt provide me with an epidural the nurses were rude,I was in so much pain yet they were asking me to sign papers and then I felt like I needed to push the baby out and they told me not to push because the Dr wasnt even there yet, my husband was by my side they didnt even offer him any food from the cafeteria no menu nothing he was so hungry it was rude because the other patients got food for there husband s called celebration meals and we got nothing, called the cafeteria to order but no one answered it was voice mail who answered. Then the nurse is trying to draw blood but didnt Evan find a vein so I asked her to please stop but she completely ignored me ....

I took my 6 year old to the ER and when the doctor came in, he barely looked at the issue, didnt give his name, didnt tell me what he thought the issue was. All I was told by the doctor was "it looks fine to me, but follow up with his pediatrician as soon as possible" and then he left the room. The nurse came in and told me the doctor believed it was a skin tag. The discharge papers held no information (aside from my sons name and birthdate) or instructions, and wasnt even full discharge papers. We saw a doctor at our doctors office and guess what?? It wasnt a skin tag. Its a cyst. Hes being referred to a specialist. I wouldnt have even given one star for this Emergency Department.

The staff is amazing and the hospital is ranked above the national average in numerous areas, check out the Govt. stats. This hospital has served my family well and gives millions back to the community in charity care. Dont believe that one star post by AFSME. This union has been hounding the people of the community to abandon this hospital for over 5 years now just because the employees dont want a union. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT CARE!!

I went in for sinusitis in January 2017, I received fair treatment only to find out that Westlake hospital ran my credit for my ER visit. I didnt know hospitals ran your credit even though you have great medical coverage. To put the icing on the cake when I called them to inquire about it I get the ole run around. It shows on my credit report! SHAME ON YOU WESTLAKE! You will never get my business or any of my family and friends

last week i was in the emergency room. the doctor ordered a chest xray in the room the guy who came to do the xray who was an older Caucasian guy had the worst attitude ever. super rude person and very unprofessional. he had me hold my breath multiple times and for so long that i started to get nauseated and dizzy. it was the worst experience ever im never going back there again

I went in with pain in my left knee and a sleep problem when i walk on the street. i was admitted and withn a dy they took care of my pain and took an mri of my brian. thankfully, nothng bad was discovered but i was told i had a slow heart . after 5 days in the wonderful hosp. i fely liek a new person Thank you, Westlake

I only had one nice nurse during labor the rest were rude the nurses in the nursery were rude they didnt want to tell me whats wrong with my baby one nurse didnt inject me correctly with the iv and my whole arm swole up bad experience never going back

Excellent..I had severe back problems@they discovered I had an irregular heart beat.Im gonna have gonna have heart trouble, the rest of my life..No other 4 hospitals discovered this problem;except Westlake..Thank You@ God Bless the entire staff!!!!!!

Well lets see here, they admitted my fiancé under false intentions. They falsified his reports and are now refusing to let him go home. All around horrible place. Do not came here. They even told my mother she has lung cancer when she doesnt

They no longer have a person on-site answering the phone. The answering service knows nothing! They transfer you to incorrect departments. They have no idea when the departments open or close. Just sickening!
