This is a review of the XSport Fitness Company and not this particular gym and has been copied from the Fitness Drive review I did a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I sent two mails with the reference number they gave me with no reply and I havent had any contact with them since 1/20/2017. Heres a copy and paste and the review. Be warned people, its really tough to get any resolution to your issues from this company. ORIGINAL REVIEW PLUS EDITS Cant tell you how frustrated I am with memebership services. I sent a cancellation in August 2015 registered to their PO Box in Aurora and Ive just realized they are still charging me. Ok, Im stupid for not checking and I deserve a 1 star for my incompetence but it sure does sting that a reputable company could do this. Try contacting them on the phone about this and you have no chance. Try sending them a letter and for some strange reason, they never arrive, so their office must be somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle because a lot of correspondence goes missing. The gym was ok and probably deserves a 3 star review but for the way they treat you after you leave, I would love to leave a zero and negative stars review because thats how bad Im feeling. Edit: 1/20/2017 - Finally got a phone call today several weeks after I sent my letter. To my surprise, Derek was really pleasant and said he would sort it out. He asked if I had postal proof of my original letter in August 2015 and because my wife is truly awesome, I actually had it. Hopefully the refund will come its way now, with an apology and some interest and if it does, then Ill happily add another edit and increase my rating. Watch this space but a pleasantly surprising experience today. Edit: 2/6/2017 - Still no response from XSport after it all seemed to be back on track, so Im glad I didnt hold my breath. Will keep posting updates every two weeks from now until there is some closure. Edit 2/9/2017 Its clear that my copying and a pasting of this review to all their sites in the local area worked, as I got a phone call from Mike in member services and he directly mentioned the reviews, so thats cool. He said he would look in to the issue and call me back. To be fair to Mike, he did call me back but I wasnt available and he left a message. His message said he was calling to give an update and asked me call him back at corporate, which some of you may like to know is (630) 556-3731. I called and asked for Mike in Member Services and they put me through and that is where it all went wrong. Ive called 5 times and phone just rings and rings and rings and rings (one was over 4 minutes). Message for Mike and XSport, if you are completely useless at picking up the phone (or dont believe in voicemail), please do not ask anyone to call you back. In future, if you have something to tell us, simply tell us in the voicemail or send us the communication, as people cant afford to hear the ringing tone of death.

05/19/15 I went to the gym with my friend, She took me as her guest. So a Gym guy approached us and ask if we would like to sign up for a minimum down payment of $20 Dollars. So I did sign up and I sign up for my boyfriend as well, So I gave 20 + 20 dollars(cash) for each of us and my friend was suppose to receive a month for free which she didnt get. So the total to sign up was $67 for each of us and minus 20 dollars that I gave. And I was to give 47 dollars later on plus the month of my membership which is 33.50 which totals to 80.50 right? So me thinking that 80.50 is what I owe and that they processed my down payment, I send a $50 dollars more Because of course I want to be done with that 47 payment (meaning I send 3 dollars extra so I would only owe 30.50 on his account). So when I login in into his account they only thing I could see was My payment of 50 dollars so I got pissed and called the gym when the girl at the desk answered me she said she was going to get someone to help me so I was there for 20 minutes and no one came to the phone so I hanged up and I called back I explained what was going on and they guy that answered told me I had to go to the gym with my contract where it said I had gave them 20 dollars because they did not have my paperwork there. So I went next day and they DID NOT HELPED ME because this guy Anthony wasnt there and he was the only One that could "helped me"... there was no other account manager so they say to come back another day ... So I called Monday and asked if Anthony was there and he was so they transferred me,, So I explained everything again and he said "Hold on let me login into you account whats ur tag # ?" so I gave my boyfriends tag # to him...So he put me on hold for 20 minutes and never came back to the line.. So I hanged up and called back again and this other guy answered saying Anthony had an emergency and he had to leave, but he promised to call me back the next day before he left (that call never came) but next day I notice they put 17 dollars thinking I wont notice that thye stole 3 dollars from me because since I made another payment of 50 so 50 and 17 totals 67 which is my enrollment BUT I GAVE THEM 20 DOLLARS so now they owe me 3 dollars. So now my boyfriend called another day and another and another There is No ANTHONY ANYMORE and in the desk they DO NOT KNOW when he will be there.. So after a month o calling them and going to the gym THEY DID NOT fix my boyfriends account they charged me already 33.50 on his account when it was suppose to be charged exactly as mine just 30.50 because on both accounts I gave 20 Dollars of a down payment and then 50 dollars and that comes out for a total of 30.50. here is the math 67(enroll.)+33.50 (Memb.) = 100.50 -20(down Pymt) - 50(from my debitcard) = 30.50 thats what they were suppose to take out my debit but no they decided just to put 17 dollars in my account instead of the $20 that I gave them.

Customer service was horrible. My sister and I went to renew our memberships yesterday (10/19/15). The young lady behind the counter did not greet us at all. She simply stared at us, as if to ask what did we want. I said, " Hey, how you doing?", she said nothing. We would like to renew our memberships ". The young lady look to her left and looked to her right, as another employee walks up, she says w/o even looking at us, "Oh, just have a seat over there (points to her right) and somebody should be over to speak with yall in a minute". #Rude&Unprofessional. We go to have a seat and wait on someone to come speak. After waiting for about 23mins and NO ONE coming to ask if we were being helped, my sister grows frustrated and goes back to the front counter and ask how long will it be before someone comes to speak with us. The young lady replied, "Oh, I forgot. My bad. Umm can someone come and talk to them. I think they wanna renew a membership or something...". A young man name Alvin and another guy with a ponytail, apologizes for the wait and made it very clear they werent aware we were waiting for anyone. Im not sure how she "forgot" when we were sitting literally 5 steps away from the desk. Maybe if she werent smiling in some many guys faces as they entered the gym, she probably couldve remembered or if she werent trying to be so lowkey on her phone, but thats neither here nor there. Alvin was helpful, as well as the other gentleman. They even made sure we had locks to lock away our belongings. This gym location is small compared to others and most of their staff was not very attentive. The restroom toilets had urine on them and the staff member in the restroom was more into ducking around corners to text, rather than mopping of puddles of water on the locker room floor and cleaning the restroom. The 2 stars are for Alvin and the gentleman with the ponytail. Xsports should consider getting some personal shoppers to go and act like theyre interested in getting a membership or just ppl to randomly go in during different shifts to see hows this location is being ran. Customer service is key in any business. The first impression was definitely a lasting impression for me, literally. That was first and last time I will be visiting this specific location. Maybe they should consider mixing it up and putting some older (30+) employees in there as well. You know, ppl who are more knowledgeable and take their jobs seriously. Too many young ppl and Im young myself.
