The staff at Busse always takes care of me without any games or hidden costs. I brought my 05 Toyota Corolla to find out what was causing my engine to make a shuttering noise whenever I drove it on the highway. Long story short, they basically told me I had to replace the entire transmission! Since the car was out of warranty they said it would cost upwards of $3000+! I decided to get a second opinion and got a referral to Busse from a coworker. They were able to find out what was making the noise, and the entire repair cost me $345. My service writer Chad did an excellent job of telling me what exactly needed to be repaired. I highly recommend Busse if youre even in need of a repair.

Weve been taking our cars to Busse for about 18 months now and I couldnt be happier with the service weve received. Theyve handled everything from oil changes to brake jobs to new tires for us and every time the service was excellent. Theyve even countered dealer recommendations saying we can still get mileage out of things and not to waste our money. These guys wont try to sell you services you dont need or make you feel inferior because you dont have a mechanics license. You can certainly trust your car with them and know theyre recommending parts that will last and services you actually need.

I was tired of taking my car into the dealer for scheduled maintenance and leaving with a $600+ bill each time (always something more was necessary). After reading the reviews I took my car to Busse to have a 120K mile checkup and oil change, the only thing needed replacing was a belt. The price was great and the location is so convenient. When I picked up the car the actual cost was a bit less than quoted and the car was cleaned inside and out!

I asked them what it could cost to have spark plugs and coils done on my truck. They said they would call me back by the end of the day to give me a price.... they never did. I called them the next day and said it would cost $1,125!!! I laughed and hung up. I went to Midwest Auto Inc in Des plaines, cost me $250 for labor but I supplied the parts which cost me $150. Busse is expensive and the customer care is crap!

WHAT A DISASTER! Took them forever to fix the vehicle, and then when I got it back, it was not done properly. My vehicle overheated within 10 minutes of leaving the shop. And I had to tell them what they did wrong. I used to trust these guys and now I will never go back. Sad. You find a good shop and somehow they lose their touch or stop caring.

I called in to have some work done on my car because Ive heard great things by word of mouth. I called in to ask about a brake job and he told me he "couldnt do it because of insurance". Not sure what that means but Ive never been told that by a mechanic before. Definetely wont ever call there again guy in the phone was very uninviting.

Great service and great experience! I went in just to have a headlight and brake light replaced (no appointment) and Chad helped me as soon as possible and got me back my car in no time! The price was beyond fair and they did not charge me for anything extra like some other places might. I will definitely be back!

This is by far the best place to take your vehicle to. They are reasonable, up front and above all honest. They will fix what need fixed and not pressure you to buy something you dont need. Mark and Chad are very knowledgeable and helpful and do a great job. You wont be sorry you went here.
