Ill tell you what happened and you decide the morale of this place. Ive been having my car repaired only here for years (since I thought I could trust since its family owned) some of the work includes brakes, rotors, oil changes and tune up (they did an oil change during my tune up that I didnt ask for and then tried charging me for it). My Check engine light came on not too long after my tune up and when I brought it back they said it has something to do w/ a vapor leak in my gas line. They charged me $100+tax to run a test in which they said I had a tiny crack in the top of my fuel container and it will cost over $800 to fix. I decided to wait and instead took it to a local repair guy, C&R Auto on 63rd street in Chicago, that my family frequents. I told him what Midas said and he said hell check it out. He said I have no crack in any fuel container but that someone did break a piece off on a vapor part and they tried masking it by putting a little rubber piece to stop the vapor from leaking. The little rubber piece ended up falling out and thats why my light came on and I couldnt pass the emissions test. HMMMM...midas is the only place that has ever really done anything on my car so I wonder who broke it. C&R fixed that piece for $220 and now my check engine light is off and I have no problems. Midas got over $100 from me for nothing and tried getting another $800+ but needless to say Ill never be coming back to this rip off place again. If you want an honest place and dont mind traveling 25 mins away from this Midas go to C&R auto and you can guarantee youll get a real fair and honest fix.

I brought my car in today at 11:30 since it was making a very loud noise after I drove over a high curb. The guy at the front desk said that it would take about 1.5 hours and offered to drive me home or I could wait. Since the public library was only a few blocks away, I said that I would wait there. At 1:30 I called to ask about their progress, and they reported that they have not been able to check out the car yet. I asked how much longer... he said "sometime this afternoon" ??? Since I had other commitments, I asked for my car back, and I left. When I got back to their office they offered some bullsh**t excuses, but basically they just wasted two hours of my time without doing anything. If they needed 5 hours, then tell me 5 hours... dont tell me 1.5 hours and then keep me waiting and think that is okay.

I have been coming to the shop at 147/Lagrange in Orland Park for over 20 years and they always give outstanding service. I have older vehicles so they need a lot of care. My most recent appointments for two of my cars were no exception - continued excellent service. (One of my appointments was free because it was only a disconnected wire that was causing the engine sputtering.) On the other, they fixed my brakes on time on a day when they were swamped. They even drove me to the train. In the past if I was not satisfied with what was done, they worked to resolve the issue to my complete satisfaction. I would never go anyplace else.

I have a 2000 Kia Sephia, squeeling belts. I thought they need to be replaced. Called Pep Boys, Sparks they were both $225 & 250. Called Midas, they were $110. Made an appointment. My daughter brought the car in and they looked at the belts, said the belts were fine just needed to be tightened. They told her $30 to stop the squeeling. I was blown away - never thought that would happen. I now take all my 3 other vehicles there. Great guys, great service and only sell you what you need. Thanks

They helped me in what I considered an emergency situation back in late 2015 and I have been going to Midas ever since. Their quality of work is great, their entire team is so incredibly friendly and attentive and will give updates as they continue working on your car. I personally always call in ahead of time and it seems to make a positive difference in getting work done quicker. Overall, Midas of Orland Park is top-notch and they take pride in being family owned and operated. Keep it up, Midas!!!

I have used this Midas location on many occasions because they are located near my work and they ALWAYS do excellent work. The people there are always kind and quick to offer a ride (even though I would half a block away). They complete all jobs quickly and efficiently. We all know car repair is expensive regardless of who does it, however Midas is reasonably priced and good at what they do all around. Thank you for all your hard work!

I am pretty biased when it comes here as it is all family and friends of mine. Bratcher enterprises is a awesome family business and have been working under the name Midas for last 30 years. Remember it is always about the people inside and never about the name out front. You can always expect respect, quality and honesty when dealing with the guys at this store.

Im from Australia and didnt know one store from another. I happened to ring Tom who managed to fit me in on the same day. The crew there where friendly, helpful and fair, so much so that I felt that I had leave a tip so that everyone got a beer. I would and will recommend these guys because they were sincere and try to look after the customer.

These guys do an excellent job and stand behind their work. They never try to sell you something you dont need and are totally trustworthy which may be rare in auto repair. Tom and his staff know what they are doing and take the time to explain it to you. They also get things done in a timely fashion. A very well run shop.

They always take excellent care of me and my car. My whole family goes here and weve all had excellent service. Always reasonable prices, theyll answer any questions I have on the car issue, they even stayed late for me one day so I could get my car in after getting a nail stuck in my tire!
