Lake CROOK Auto Wash is rude, condescending, and argumentative. My husband bought me a gift card to Lake Cook Auto Wash for my birthday. I was so excited use the gift, and I made an appointment right away for the $156.00 detail. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment, and the next morning, Vick called to tell me that this detail package was a waste of my money, that his guys would not do quality work, and that he was sure that the carpets would not be cleaned properly. However, if I was willing to spend an extra one hundred dollars (with the promise to tip his guys very well), he might consider actually washing the car. After arguing, begging, and pleading with Vick on the phone for 20 minutes to complete the $156 detail, I had had enough. It was then that I decided that I would cancel my appointment, and I went to pick up my car. When I arrived to pick up my car, Vick demanded that I pay him for services that were NOT rendered. At that point, I asked him to just complete the detail - I apparently already owed him a decent amount of money - so why not? When I picked up my car, the outside hadnt even been washed, but at that point, I was sick of arguing. The best part - the man at the counter rolled his eyes when I told him that I wasnt planning on tipping. Vick is liar, a scammer, and a con-artist. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LAKE CROOK AUTO WASH.

In May 2015 I (for the first time) ran my 2006 Subaru Forester through this wash. It came out without a rear window wiper. The arm had been snapped off. This is a factory installed unit, not some cheap add-on. It had gone through probably a dozen different car wash facilities 100 to 200 times with no problems. When I approached the on-duty manager about the problem his answer was quick, curt and totally unsatisfactory: "Didnt you read the sign...not responsible for..." Getting the unit repaired required replacing the entire motor unit (the motor shaft was snapped off)- cost was $436. Needless to say, this was the first and last time Ill use this car wash- and certainly want to warn others of the possible outcome. Besides the damage to the wiper, I also noticed that all of the brushes pressed harder against the various parts of the car than in other car washes. I wouldnt want to use this place again just because the extra force on the brushes is likely to generate a lot of scratches (and knock something else off, like a side view mirror). So - find another place to wash your car.

I have been going there for years ,but the help is so rude ,argumentative and tells you one thing from another from one day to the next and when you want to complain tell you to contact Robert can never get a hold of him Years of going there not worth it go elsewere ! THEY SUCK ! THEY TREAT PEOPLE WITH SUCH DISRESPECT ! So many other car wash places ! And one just right around the block who will honor all coupons ! AND ARE EXTREMLY nice and dry car for you ! GO there !!!!!!!!!!!! Now after talking finally to Robert What a disaster This guy is a JOKE A Manager ?? I am a customer service manager of a major company and this guy talked to me like I was a piece of crap ! Shop somewhere else for you better interest ! If it isnt bad now it will be soon ! I assure you ! What a really rotten disordly crappy operation In need of repair and restructure !

If you take care of them they take care of you. The service has been good. I always get the full service. I always tip. Started going here a long time ago. Then I had them wax and buff and even used the service they have for PDR (Optimum Dent Removal). These guys know my car. They do a good job every single time. The same guy one their main detail guys here when I started going here years ago is still here. I highly recommend them. Going through the wash use the mirror to make sure your perfectly lined up. I havent rashed any of my wheels here. Love that feature. Their wash is easy to navigate I dont have to watch the tech to know Im in the clear. Anyways cant complain about the services love the staff. Been comming here awhile just had the PDR guy remove a dent and thought I havent wrote a review on them. So here it is!

DONT USE THIS CAR WASH! If you value your car, you will take it to Delta Sonic or wash yourself. Cheap is nice but not at the expense of your car. Just went through the wash and it broke my drivers side mirror off!. Their first response was that I should have moved my mirrors in. My car does not have movable mirrors! The second response was directing me to the sign up front that says "not responsible for damage". I dont think they know how to set up their equipment properly as I heard an audible bang on my mirror and an impact mark. The brushes should not be that close or tight. BE WARNED, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGE THEY CAUSE!

I purchased full service option but wasnt given any instructions as where to go after car wash for other detailing. Once I found out the place myself, the staff asked me to wait inside. Called me back in 10 mins and I was surprised how they couldve done so fast... My car wasnt vacuumed properly and the trunk was completely ignored.. Mirrors and windshield had streaks... Not a good service for the full-service option I purchased. May be OK for basic car wash...

If you are going there for just the outside well then okay. But if you want it vacuumed and wiped down, well go somewhere else. They took more than 30 minutes to start my car and there was only one car ahead. Guys standing around talking and not interested in customer service. Go to the car wash on route 12. They will honor the coupons and care about repeat business. Not good business Robert.

Their wash scratched my car and caused over $700 in damage. I completed an incident report the day it happened and spoke with the regional manager. He stated he couldnt do anything without the owners approval. Needless to say the owner never contacted me and now Im looking to file a small claim to get the vehicle repaired.

This place is amazing. Great, cheap, FAST car wash. They always have sales going on if you ask about it. Never have to wait in line for more than a few minutes, even on the busiest days. On top of that, they have quality vacuums you can use after the wash. All for $3? Cant beat it.

Used to go here but got tired of the up selling. They pressure you into buying a more expensive wash while the $3 wash is fine. They seem to get pissy when you refuse the up sell. Car wash on NW highway is much better.

Worst car wash in the world. Do not go here.. They dont care what so ever about your car/wheels the kid that was working there told me to do whatever .worse car wash experience ever. Will never come here again..
