Until my issue is resolved I will NOT be changing my review and I will NOT be returning to this establishment... On the afternoon of Thursday, May 28, 2015 I used the third bay from the left and inserted my debit card into the card machine where I was informed there was a minimum charge of $4.50. After I was done with my car, I pressed the "stop" button on the card machine and read the screen which notified me that my card had been charged an amount UNDER $5.00 - like $4.65 or something. I got in my car, drove off, and continued on my way. Later that night I checked my bank account online as I often do. It was then that I saw I had been charged $20.00 instead of the informed minimum charge of $4.50... I emailed Busy Bee Car Wash with no response from their staff. In addition to posting bad reviews of them on Google and Yelp, I will be telling all of my friends and coworkers, who live and work near Schaumburg where Busy Bee is located, about my experience and I WILL NOT be returning until this issue is resolved. IF the issue is resolved and I do ever return to this establishment I will NO LONGER be using their credit card machines.

I would have put 5 stars but I also have an issue with the credit card machine. My mom was charged $20 for the 4:50! I will re-rate if this is fixed. I used the self wash. When I got home and took a better look at my car, it was still super dirty. So I called Busy Bee and talked to Roman. He told me to come back where he would show me how to wash the car better for no charge. I went back and he thoroughly washed my car, kindly explaining all the steps and how to get the more out of the wash without spending more. He had me park my car in the sun to make sure he didnt miss a spot and he even helped dry my car. Even though I know I didnt wash it right, he gave me a free wash. I also didnt wash the car for a long time so part of the reason it was still so dirty was because of it being winter and how long I waited to wash it. I will go back but Im not sure about using the credit card machine.

I am very satisfied with the service, always clean, everything always works, very bright at night, excellent customer service and ASSISTANCE OVER THE PHONE 24H A DAY.I have been in many self service car washes but this one is the best and simply one of the kind. When you use a debit card at this location ,Busy Bee car wash preauthorizes customers account for the maximum amount that they allow which is $20. After two business days, pending $20 disappears and the actual amount appears on customers account.I was told that the credit cards do not have a preauthorization pending charge.

Good and some sort of bad experience. Good Equips There no doubt. But when you use a credit card. They will charge you $20 for deposit no matter how much you spend( at least in my case it was 20). And they will return the deposit after several days. I went back to the car wash to only get to know why I was charged 20 instead of what I had used. They could have told me and saved me some 40 minutes in some ways. But the staff there is really nice, who promptly offered me my receipt and apology for the inconvenience.

What the heck!! I washed my car Thursday September 24, 2015 I used my credit unfortunately. When I was done washing my car on the machine I pressed stop. It said I was charged $4.50. So ok I was fine with that. I later checked my bank account and to my surprise I was charged 20$. Im really mad and I saw other posts on here that have had the same problem. I also will not be returning until I receive my money the $15.50.

The automatic car wash was a typical laserwash 4000 unit youd find at any gas city, yet it performed worse than the car wash id buy with my gas. I got the most expensive $12.00 wash, and it was definitely about half the wash time I get from the gas city laserwash off 55 near the weber road exit. It didnt do anything and I felt ripped off. Not going there again.

Some of the washing stalls work while others dont work too well. Could be that other people break them. Otherwise, the cost is pretty cheap, comes out to under $10 to wash your car. Pro tip, dont use the brush since people seem to leave them on the ground and it tends to pickup rocks which would then scratch your car.

Typically I like washing my car at busy bee but, the same exact thing happend to me that happend to Jason. I used the credit card machine and spent what I thought was $5.00 for a car wash, however, my card was charged exactly $25. VERY frustrating!!!

A bit pricey, but I really like that the self-was bays accept credit cards because I rarely have enough quarters or cash to wash my entire car. Be mindful that their soap goes a long way and can sometimes take a while to get completely off the car.

Decent car wash, but the soap from the brush stains your clothes. And shoes. Take the dye out the soap. Its soap...doesnt need to be pretty...

High pressure! Tons of soap! Fast switch-over from wash to brush to rinse. Small area to dry and detail ur car. Could use more shade...
