Awful customer service! After having this establishment clean one of my dresses, I brought it home and wore it to work under a jacket. When I got home and removed my jacket, my daughter noticed a large (half dollar size) tear in the seam under the zipper. When I brought dress back to cleaners asking them to repair at no charge, since this tear was not present before bringing the dress in for cleaning, the clerk argued that the tear was there when I gave her the dress. So she cleaned, charged me for and returned a dress with a hole in it for me to wear?!?!? IF this were the case, dont you think she would notate the defect BEFORE returning to me?!? They have lost all of my future business due to this flagrant, arrogant attitude.

I had a couple beaded dresses and some other spring cleaning items that I brought to Chicago Ave Cleaners, and Im really satisfied with everything! Ive had so many problems in the past with other places, but Im definitely planning on going back. Since theyre under new ownership, and the 30% off, I checked it out, and am very pleased. I know its really hard to find a dependable and CHEAP cleaners around here... but I wont be looking any longer! Plus the lady there is so sweet!
