I think the Pritchards technicians are very nice people and i have enjoyed talking to them. But I need to let everyone know about a recent experience I have had. My car would not start and upon further inspection I figured it is the starter. I decided to get a pricing for a starter and alternator, just to be safe. I asked Pritchards tp provide a pricing and also checked with napaonline and autozone (just for a reference point). This is what I found, just for parts. Alternator: Napa: 170. Pritchards: 315+labor. Starter: Napa: 119; Pritchards: 232+labor(90). The napa prices above are what Napa would sell these to me for. They quoted these prices over phone. So, I figured I should asked the Pritchards manager about this, since the technicians told me they put in napa parts. She said, she has to make a living. OK. Granted. She was unhappy that I had called Napa, apparently and asked me to take my business elsewhere. Interesting... With school starting soon, I presume this would be useful information for many.

I used to take my car here all the time and was happy with the service until I needed two tire valve stems replaced. They charged me around ninety. I thought it seemed high so i called other places around town and found out I had been charged triple what everyone else would have been charged. Only after much arguing did I get any money back but I still ended up paying way too much. He also dinged my roommate on his car repair. I would not recommend them to anyone and if you have to go there price check the competition.

Im not sure why everyone else is giving this place such a bad review-- but I thought this place was great. My car had died over the weekend and I went in there early Monday morning and they had towed my car in, investigated the problem, and solved it within two hours. It may be a little more expensive than other places, but the difference is its right on campus, super fast, and incredibly convenient. I would have had to pay for a taxi to get to the other places so I really couldnt have asked for more!

Very unprofessional. Used service last year for a dead battery and recently had the same issue. Used them again and found they charged me more this time, charged me for things they said would be included in another price and wouldnt compromise given their mistake on giving false information. Not only did they not compromise the owner, Jeff, was VERY rude during my conversation with him about the issue. DO NOT use this place at all!!
