THEY PUT A OIL PAN ON MY BLAZER AND OVER CHARGED ME 96.00 THAN ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. IT WAS LEAKING PRETTY GOOD ON THE WAY HOME. TOOK BACK NEXT DAY. THEY MESSED UP TIMING COVER AND HAD TO REPLACE IT AND CHARGE ME. NOW THE OIL PAN GASKET IS REUSED AND STILL LEAKING.THEY CALLED THE SECOND TIME I TOOK IT HOME AND HAD TO BRING BACK RIGHT AWAY SINCE THEY DIDNT FILL FRONT DIFF. I HAVE GOT TO KNOW THESE GUYS BETTER AND DONT TRUST THEM ANY MORE TO WORK ON MY VEHICLE. I HAVE CHECKED THERE WORK AND THERE ARE PARTS MISSING, BOLTS MISSING, STRAWBERRY JELLY STUFF FOR GASKETS. OIL IN MY FRONT DIFF. INSTEAD OF GEAR LUBE. WISH I WOULD TAKEN SOME WHERE ELSE TO GET FIXED

R & M Automotive recently fixed my clutch. I had done some research and thought that my slave cylinder was what had failed causing my clutch to lose control with the clutch pedal. They quoted me over the phone for that job which required taking apart the transmission. However, they discovered that it was only the hydraulic tube connected to the slave cylinder which was replaceable without messing with the transmission. Overall, that saved me over $500! They were very honest with there assessment and did a great job! I would recommend this place to anyone with car trouble!

Ive had my 2006 Jeep Liberty in at R&M Automotive 5-6 times for over 100,000+ miles needs. R&M [Rick and Macs] mechanical work is efficient, and completed at a equitable/honest price. They explain the diagnostic short and long term options before I have made any decisions. I am a loyal customer to R&M Automotive because I know they care about maintaining a positive relationship with their customers. I live in downtown Indianapolis, a 40-minute drive from their mechanic shop in Plainfield, and it IS worth the drive. Thank you R&M.

I love these guys. I have had 3 of my cars worked on by them. Honest, quick and hard working. I have sent multiple friends to Rick and Mac and they all have been impressed. I dont worry about getting screwed over anymore. They know that Plainfield is small and if they cheated people, they wouldnt last long. Word gets around if you are bad. These guys are GREAT so spread the word!!

Had to get a water pump replaced on a 2003 Dodge Durango, They explanied all that had be done and notice the fan clutch was off center and replaced it too. The price was still 100 under what I was quoted just for just getting water pump fixed, They got it done in 3 hours and all in the same day I dropped it off. Friendly , honest place to do business with.

Stumbled across this place kind of by mistake but have been going back ever since. These guys know what they are doing and dont try to sell you anything you dont need. Good honest people.
