Our vehicle was rear-ended, and we had the tow truck drop it at Nichols. After 4 weeks and 5 attempts to pick it up, we finally took delivery of the vehicle. The bumper still isnt lined up correctly, and even the gas cap wasnt done right. Each time I visited the shop, I would find something that they had overlooked. Like. . . .the trunk wouldnt latch. How does that happen? How does someone not check these things? Once they got the trunk to latch, it was rubbing the left side, and there was a huge gaping hole on right side. Then they tried to fix that, and the trunk lid was a half an inch above the side panels. Unbelievable. In addition, a friend of mine had some paint work done to a vehicle of his. They just happened to be painting a school bus at the same time. They got yellow overspray all over the vehicle. Upon his return and request for them to remedy the problem, they did a mediocre job removing the overspray. He is still trying to come to a solution with them. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid it like the plague.

I have had two vehicles worked on by this place, one was a 2001 GMC Sierra C3 they fixed a small dint in the passenger rear bumper, this required painting the entire passenger side bed panel. Perfect match with paint, and you couldnt tell anything ever happened. Second vehicle 06 Mercedes Benz C-230 Sport, area affected, Grill and Front bumper requiring the entire bumper to be painted and replace the parts requiring the bumper to look new again. Finished product was spot on, and again I couldnt tell it had been repaired. I use Nichols Body Company because my insurance American Family offers a guarantee of work the entire time I own the vehicle, even if I didnt have this guarantee I would use their services.
