I wish I could give less than 1 ⭐️. When I initially called to inquire about the move, Jessie assured me that my items would be professionally wrapped and moved, 3 men +truck $125/hr. The day of the move the invoice showed $130/hr and the lead mover told me they sent an extra guy so deal with the extra $5/hr. I contacted Jessie and she stated it was a billing error. Immediately into my move the unprofessional movers (I found out were day laborers) were moving my couch, 55" curve tv, and mattresses out without covering them. I contacted Jessie who agreed they shouldnt be doing that and said she would call Steve (lead mover) nevertheless, the kept doing what they were doing. When I got to my new place TV, sectional couch and door to bedroom was damaged and Roy Nagel, the owner doesnt want to replace my items!!! He said VIA EMAIL the guys did cover my items when I sent him pics showing otherwise!!! AVOID THIS MOVING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Roy is very nasty, mean and rude on top of running an unprofessional business. UPDATE: Ive been asking Roy to call me since this incident happened and he wouldnt even give me a courtesy phone call...his choice of communication has been email. It wasnt until he saw my review. and called me this morning THREATENING to sue me in the amount of $6,000 if I didnt take my review down and that I had 24-hours to do so. Everything Ive stated above is factual information sir

If I could give a lower rating, I would. We moved cross country in October of 2015. We needed to move our 2007 Miata as well. We were assured by the owner, Roy Nagel, that they had done this frequently and assured us that the car would not be harmed. When our furniture and car were delivered on October 4th, the first thing the driver told us was that shelving above our car wa not installed properly and had fallen on our car, damaging the front bumper and headlight. Pictures were taken and paperwork signed documenting the damage and that Roy would get back to us soon. We waited for two weeks for their call and decided to call them. That call, along with all others, were not returned. We were finally told tot get two estimates, which we did, one for $1,100 the other for $1,200.00. After waiting for a resolution for four months, we asked our lawyer back in Indiana to try to resolve this issue. Mr. Nagel refused to pay for the damages! Six months with no resolution! DONT TRUST THIS MOVING COMPANY! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!! Do yourself a favor, before considering A-Line, read their reviews on Yelp.

Worst experience in my life. This company over charge me from start to finish. This are facts, not my opinion and I have receipt to prove it. When I paid the down payment of $130.00 they was nice to me. The day they show up to my home at 11:15am they changed me from 10:30am. I called the office they, was rude and got smart with me. Cause they already had my Deposit $130. The only thing they told me up front was its non refundable after 24 hours. They fail too mention, I still have to pay them even tho they finish working. And bill me for 2 extra hours just because they can. 2nd the workers work approximately 5 hours and bill me for 7 hours. 3rd the workers finish at 2:59pm and that charge me till 3:20pm. So do there math start time 10:30am finish at 3:20pm and they bill me for 7 hours and 15 minutes. So when the workers show paper work. I ask him you guy just literally rob me with out a weapon. I cant believe this, I have to pay for you guys, to come to my home and pay for you guys to go home. I would only recommend this hidden price company to people you definitely dont like... SO BEWARE...

I get home from work at 6 a.m. from a 12 hour shift. I requested a moving crew at for the afternoon because I am in the process of moving and am exhausted when I get home. I explained this too. The lady who answered said they already had appointments that day but had availabies in the afternoon. She kept on insisting that I had to make an appointment at 8 a.m.; the earliest appointment. I told the lady 10 a.m. was earliest I could do by far and even though she had said that they HAD appointments available in the afternoon. She STILL pressed for 8 a.m. I told her I could not do 8 and she hung up on me. Then when I had called back to complain to her manger, she threw the fact that her husband was her boss in my face and would not let me talk to him. My first time contacting movers by myself and probably on of the most unpleasant Ill ever have.

My move was told to me to be scheduled for 8 oclock in the morning. I called the office to be greeted by a very rude obnoxious woman. I only called to see if the movers were running late. The lady who answered started yelling and being very nasty with me telling that they are not scheduled to be there til 8:30-9 and I tried explain to her that is not what I was told. She cut me off and as I told her she had no need to be rude she cut be off again and transferred me to The owner her husband who was even more nasty and rude than she was he started yelling at me and told me he could just cancel my move. I only called to check my status! The movers on the other hand was a really awesome team I would hire them any day but due to who they are employed by that wont be an option!

I used A Line Movers in October. The workers themselves were nice and helpful. However, when I noticed that my antique hutch was damaged, everything changed. I called the company and the same lady that I set up the move with answered the phone. When I told her that there was a large chunk of wood missing from the front of my hutch and the drawer was screwed closed , she said the owner would get back with me. After several calls and emails, I still have not heard back. I now have come to find out the "owner" is her husband. I just wanted to be made whole again! Terrible customer service!

A-Line Movers moved a piano that was in my house from Highland IN to Fairfield Iowa. The price was reasonable. The workers showed up at the appointed time, and took good care of the piano. It took about 6-8 weeks to get the piano moved, but Mr. Nagel had explained it might take that long because they had to wait until they had other materials to move out west. They called the person in Iowa on the day it was due to arrive 4 hours ahead of time. When they arrived the workers were courteous. The piano was in great shape. I was satisfied with A-Line Movers. Have moved many times (over 15), both cross-country and local. This is by far the worst company I have dealt with. The workers are poorly trained, disorganized and milk the clock. They have little respect for the home you are moving from or to. Their are many moving companies out there who have efficient, respectful, properly trained and professional employees. This is not one. Out of 15 moves, only one company damaged my property, complained about how hard the work was, misled on quoted time and money..A-line Movers. Please go to the competition.
