They have double charged my card, and over drafted my bank account twice now. They also lack in keeping up with their own information and customer service is almost none existent, almost. In renting the truck they were pretty helpful; once returned the stress began. I rented the truck on a budget on short notice to help a friend move some things in a time of need. I of course could only estimate my mileage and inevitably went over a few hundred miles. I simply didnt have the money and explicitly told them not to charge the card again. They simply needed to allow me a little time. A week later I found my account over drafted and that my checking account had been closed. They had ran my card anyway after me saying not to. They got the recently added $87.18 and left my account negative with an added over draft fee. This lead to my first encounter with customer service on the phone. I called my bank who advised me to dispute the charges on the grounds my card was ran without permission. I went on to call U-Haul to try and work this out and over the phone they were dismissive and borderline rude. I went on to file the dispute in what has turned into a month long dispute trying to save my bank account. I had been working with my bank to fix this which resulted in stress, time and money lost fixing that. I got my bank account to $1.00 and despite still losing the money I had, I was just relieved to see my account fixed. I went on to talk to U-Haul at this point with the means to pay off my bill with the intentions to fix this and get this whole ordeal off my shoulders. I got passed around the same three departments and put on hold numerous times. No one seemed to be able to keep track of how much I owed and there was no account of my $87.18 on top of this I found I now had a $30.00 late fee tagged on bringing my balance owed to $130.81. I finally talked to someone with some sense and found I could track my balance online but she couldnt see an accurate bill on her end. I looked online and saw where my $87.18 went into the total bill and we discussed my plans to pay. Since the reason the payment was late was because of their error and I had to spend my time, money and efforts on fixing my bank before I could even pay them they agreed to waive the $30.00 late fee bringing my total to $100.81. I saw no reason to continue the dispute with my bank and ended it. The money cleared my bank at midnight and the next day I paid them the $100.81 in full. The money came out of my account on November 25th and I received an e-mail with a receipt clarifying I paid in full and that I no longer owed them any money. I thought this was behind me. I was wrong... Tonight "November 27th" I went to deposit some money to find they charged me the full $130.00 now charging me twice leaving my checking account closed with a balance of -$107.99. Its of course too late for me to handle this and I find that its very clear that their staff is uncoordinated and they are extremely poor at keeping records/information. This is now two months of extreme stress that has now begun to affect me on a psychological and physical level. Not to mention the extra time and money they are continuing to STEAL from me. People deserve to know what type of people they are dealing with. This has been going on since October when it should have been finished had they paid attention to and respected my wishes and just worked with me as I TRIED to with them. Id also like the mention that, by U-hauls standards the truck was returned a day early. I also detailed the truck myself to ensure it came back as clean as it left with a touch more gas than it left with, none of which was taken into consideration.

Employees and manager do not know anything about their computers or the way their facility works. We have requested a reserved a U-Haul truck at 1 oclock and did not receive it until 3 oclock in the evening. We also reserved a storage unit. But the employee would not give us the storage unit until we had boxes to put in it. Then our storage unit door would not stay open we asked to get a different storage unit for the same price with a door that worked and they couldnt even transfer us to a new storage unit. We also had a 24 hour access key, and when we tried to swipe it to get into the storage unit it would not even let us in. When I tried to call customer service to file a complaint. The woman acted like I was a idiot. Next time Ill pay the extra money to use Penske over U-Haul any day

Great customer service! Everyone here is very helpful. The steps to getting a Uhaul was fast and easy. We called the night before to reserve the truck we wanted. The people on the phone were helpful and they tried there best to get us the truck we needed. When we went to get the truck everything went very smooth and fast. We returned the truck with no issues and all was well.

My experience with this place was terrible. They overcharged me & tried to cover it up with some fake charges that I knew nothing about. Was told a receipt was being emailed to me & all she did was email me a blank paper!!! I only gave them a one so I could write this review. Watch out, I know the next time I will be paying with cash!!!

We have used this U-Haul service location many times. They are always helpful and respectful. Sometimes it takes a while to get in and out because they are almost always busy. I highly recommend them. We have never been steered wrong nor had any problems with the vehicle nor the contract through this service branch.

great facility,fast. I love their wireless communication. It leads to zero lag time for the consumer. i HAD TO RETURN SOME BOXES UNUSED FROM MY PUT OF STATE MOVE. They took them without any complaints. Hank even helped me look up the transaction number as I had lost my receipt. Superb!

Be sure you verify the miles they have on the "contract" before you leave. Compare it to whats on the dash. Theyre happy to sign it to verify it, fold it up, and hand it to you with a lower number on the paper than whats on the dash. Customer service is horrendous. So unfriendly.

I had a great experience here with the friendly staff who were willing and able to answer all my questions and help me out learning how to hook my car up to the tow dolly. They were accommodating and great with supplying both the truck and moving supplies.

a man claiming to be a manager made claims about our contract. he wasnt a manager and it wasnt true. uhaul booked our pickup at the wrong location, didnt have the type of truck we requested either. the service people were rude and impatient.

I use U-Haul all over the country and there is NO better location than the Riverside one in Evansville! The employees and manager are great, friendly and helpful every single time. I wish they all could be this good. Thanks guys!!
