I went in July 10 for my first ever hair color treatment. Im in love with my hair . I went in during the 50% off of any hair coloring treatment, which is great! The service I got from TANYA was great she cared, was talkative, efficient and was almost excited as I was! I paid for a Double dimension with partial highlights, with my hair reaching my waist. Originally this would of been $125, with the 50% off it was 65.00$ and I added a 30.00$ tip for the great service . I came in today ( july 24) with my mom. She has she has ear length hair. They gave me the hugest run around today attempting to charge me for the hair escape package for 75$ ..fine right? They know what their talking about after all the manager of the salon was there. I thought ok 50% of 75$ not bad! Oh but wait, its 75$ plus 30$ for toning "with the 50% its still $80." Then they tried to convince me that its because it includes blowdry, cut, and the toner. Hold on a minute..I told them that cant be right because with my hair length I receive that all in the double dimension package for 65$. They both tried to explain how it was different. How?! My mother asked for the exact same treatment I had with 75% Less hair! I was getting fustrated because I personally felt they were trying to get as much money as they could . This is unfortunate because I have been a client here for 3+ years. In addition, the manager found my payment as did I. Which I thought "ok shell see that what I was saying was making sense, they were changing up the prices." Nope she found my reciept and left out the back door. Her employee asked if she had told me anything in regards to this issue. Where did she go? No, empathy and especially no clear communication here. If it wasnt for TANYAS CLEAR AND WELL EXPLAINED RUN DOWN OF THEIR SERVICES I WOULD OF BEEN RIPPED OFF BY STYLIST THAT WERE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. I had them give my mother a basic cut and am now looking for other locations to color and treat my familys hair.Side note for anyone wanting to color their hair for an all over base color. Dye it yourself out the bottle. Color treatment shampoo :Wella brilliance color shampoo/ conditioner . Smells great and works even better (pureology, redkin, matrix biolage ) Deep condition with "Its a 10" condtioner and or "Its a 10" hair mask for damaged hair. If you have split ends use Nexxus pro mend for split ends. This will all cost you the same as one of their overpriced services with products included.( buy at target or walgreens , way cheaper)

Horrible experience! My mother went there to cut her hair and a chick named Dawn butchered it. She asked for a simple wedge not to short in back. This lady didnt have a clue what she was doing. She cut my mothers hair in chunks you can see the uneven cuts all over, its not even cut even in front one side goes down past her chin the otherside is up to the middle of her check and jagged. Its horrible! Their are "holes" in parts of her hair. She even shaved her neck and burned her. I am so angry. This woman had enough never to argue with my mom when she said, "its not even what did you do?" Her response was, "yes it is" brushed her hair to the front her her face and said, "ur just not looking at it right." Are you kidding me! My mother had to pay for that crap and hasnt stop crying. We will NEVER GO BACK! I am contacting management for her money back.

The woman that was cutting my hair moved away and I was unsure where to go. I honestly do not like chain salons but I decided to go into Hair Cuttery in Munster. This young lady with pink hair and tattos came to the reception area to take down my info. I liked the way she looked (I loved her hair) so I asked if she would cut my hair. She, Michelle, did an amazing job! She cut it exactly the way I wanted it. I changed styles and she did great with my new style too. She is a very talented in her craft and I am glad I found her!!!

Amazing I cant remember the lady who cut my hair , but I have her card with her hours I will forver only go to her. She recommend me this product for my hair because I bleached it so bad but after she washed it with that product and sprayed that spray. My hair felt amazing even after two days of npf washing it. Which my hair gets so oily and nasty if I dont wash it every day which it is damaging my hair. So I will return just to get that product you told me to get!! Thanks plus I love my hair cut

If i had the choice to leave zero stars I would. The shampooing and conditioning was nice and it made my hair feel better. The hair cut on the other hand was terrible. The girl cut it shorter then I wanted. Though she said she would cut it longer to have it be the length I wanted when it dried. I also got layers done, but instead of actually layers that transition into each other, mine are just a hugh gap. Highly disappointed, now I have to wait until it grows to get it fixed.

I went in just for a trim, asking for the layers taken out of my hair. The lady spent about 5 minutes on my hair, when I got home I realized how uneven it was. I even found a piece she forgot to cut that was hanging down an inch longer. I feel like my hair is uneven and noticeable. It also looks choppy at the bottom, I paid $15 for this stupid haircut. Very upset

Ive been going to this Hair Cuttery for the last couple years and its been nothing but the best service Ive ever had in to even now have a stylist by the name of Michelle who knows what I want and does a wonderful job Im so happy to have found such a great company that knows what I love thank u so much

U guys rock!!!!!My daughter got a round hair brush stuck in her hair today,right in the bang area,it was horrible!!! They got it out in 15 minutes without making her cry or having to cut it!!!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH..YOUR GREAT!! FROM ONE VERY PLEASED MOTHER!!! (Munster Indiana salon!!!)

Over satisfied, just dont trust this one girl, Jessica, she messed up on 3 mens hair cut!! I always go there and request someone else if shes the only one available. She always asks another stylist to help her out when she gets stuck and messes up your hair.

They usually do really great hair cuts for my 3yr old son. This last time I went the hair cut looks pretty bad. Uneven, sticks up, thinking about taking somewhere else to get it fixed before school, dont want to pay another $15 to get it fixed.
