On a recent rain day I happened across the reviews for Musselmans and thought to myself, "this doesnt sound like the place I know", so I decided to write a review which I rarely do. As a small Landscaping company I have used Musselmans almost exclusively for about 4-5 years now and would not hesitate to change if I found it necessary. The products are of a consistent quality and texture with a mulch coloring that lasts for a full year if they are installed correctly. The product pricing and delivery fees I have found to be very competitive and I check yearly in the winter. I find the front office staff, all of the companys staff actually, to be friendly, courteous and eager to help. Finally, the deliveries I order are consistently within 15 minutes of the time promised. What more do I need?

Soil was not fit for plants. I told the sales people that I was building raised bed gardens. I asked for soil that would be suitable for raised bed gardens. They told me they have what I needed. After a couple weeks my plants werent doing well. Before I attempted to fix the soil, I sent some off to the UMass lab for an analysis. I do this to take the guess work out of fertilizing etc. Well the soil is terrible, Ive attached the picture for all the see. You too Musselmans. I paid for the test you should have run before selling this soil. Youre welcome.

First time purchasing from Musselman, but it wont be the last. Ordered black tinted mulch and the product was excellent. Delivery guys were friendly and professional as well. I will say, if you order from the website, make sure you follow up with a phone call and tell them what time you want it.

BEWARE...This place is 20% more expensive than other mulch deliveries around town. Their staff is rude and your card will be charged immediately regardless of your delivery timeline. The real kicker is a 5% cancellation fee on your order that they forget to mention. Spend your money elsewhere.

Purchased 4 cubic yards on a Saturday. It smelled like ammonia but I didnt know any better and we placed it in our flower beds. The mulch was "sour" and killed my plants and grass. No response from sales office when contacted.

Never had an issue. Have used them for 5-6 years for mulch and topsoil. All have been great and prices are better than the chain stores.
