If I could give this less than 1 star I would! First off, it started off with them only testing the battery and trying to charge us $250 for a battery that we didnt need when we had it tested 3 times at different places before that with the same type of tester. Next, an employee named Anna hung up on my husband when he disagreed with the battery issue. My husband called back and conveniently no one answered the phone. So he contacted a manager and then another person called him back. The next day, someone called and said it was the starter and we were told it would be covered under the warranty. The following Monday we were called and told there was a very loud knocking sound and that they wouldnt leave it running to do anything else and that we were suddenly over the mileage for the warranty (but was not over the mileage for it when they said the starter would be covered) and that the only reason the starter was covered was because they were nice enough to go ahead and let us have that. WE go in 10/06/2016 to find out what we would owe and we tried to start it before going in and it wouldnt start. We talked to Anna again and she came back out with 2 men and basically just sat there and did not say another word to myself nor my husband at all. When it was mentioned to these to men (I did not catch their names) that it would not start they go out there by themselves and come back in and swear up and down it started. My husband told them repeatedly it would not start for him and said, I want to hear it before we do anything else. When we both walk out there all of a sudden there were 4 guys standing there around the car. I made the remark that it did not take 4 people to start the vehicle and 2 of them left. This knock was not as loud as it was made out to be. I WILL NOT be visiting this facility again. Esp since we were 438 over the warranty (mysteriously I might add) and they went ahead and used that and now we are out the money we would have gotten back for not using it at all. I will be looking into some factors that do not seem right and I dont agree with several things that happened. The customer service is pathetic in the service dept, and when you have employees like Anna that hang up on customers (after spending thousands of their hard earned dollars at the car lot) its just unforgivable! He may have raised his voice, but he did not swear and had zero reason to be disconnected from the line. I work in customer service where our calls are recorded and had I purposefully hung up on someone I would lose my job and fast! Any time we had called up there and asked about the car we spoke with someone different and Anna was always busy, even when it was myself that called and not my husband. This is EXACTLY how you lose business....and this is EXACTLY why you have only a 2.5 star rating for your facility.

Today I had my Cadillac Serviced. They told me It would be best if I were to go home and wait for them to work on the car as they were running behind. I said ok, and I asked the service writer if they had a courtesy vehicle to give me a ride home since I had no other means of transportation. They Gave me a ride home. A few hours later I received a call from John Jones GM Chevy Olds Buick Dealer of Scottsburg letting me know that my car was ready. I asked if they could send a courtesy car to come pick me up and bring me back to the dealer so I could pay for the car repairs. Here is where they screwd up. They have someone Drive my OWN CAR to come pick me up. Thus burning up my gas just to make a double trip back to the dealer. Not to mention the possible liability by risking someone wrecking my car in the first place. So I go in to complain about it. and they just dismiss my complaint like it was nothing. I said well I guess when it comes to un professionalism it must be a scott county thing isnt it? Then one of the Service guys Named Bob got Smart with me, and asked where I bought the car. Where I bought the car is None of his business and completely Irrelevant . When I asked the manager what would have happened if and when their driver drove my car off their lot and what would happen if the car got wrecked she said " oh we have insurance for that" I said it dosent matter whether you have insurance or not. I would be with out a car until mine was repaired or replaced! You just dont do that. The manager she was saying, "For future reference we do use customers vehicles to pick them up and or drop them off if need be". All the other dealers I have ever been to have had a courtesy vehicle where they will take you home and pick the customer up if the customers car needs to be left at the dealer and or repair facility! And they do not ever use a customers car as a courtesy vehicle. That is completely Un Professional. I rate them an F -

I understand mistakes can be made but I am not happy with the out come of a deal that I thought was put together very openly. Lease term and monthly lease payment were agreed to several days prior. The day I was to close the deal and take possession of new vehicle, the dealer determined monthly payment pricing was based on shorter lease term (39 mo vs. 48 mo). Consequently, payments would increase. I am glad they figured this out before I made the drive from Louisville. In their defense, they figured out how to hold the payment to the agreed upon amount but the residual was about $2,000 higher than it should have been based on a competitors quote. Hope you have better luck than I had.

The staff is so professional! No pressure service, just what the rest of the world needs! Great work guys!! I was in the area and stopped by John Jones to see if they could service my BMW, the staff did not hesitate! They explained to me it would be a few moments before my car was started. They performed an inspection and serviced my vehicle at a fraction of the price as my normal BMW dealer. I will be switching my future service to John Jones as well. Thanks for all your help John Jones service department!!
