You get what you pay for. We were traveling cross country and were having on and off issues starting the car. We read on their website that they did free battery tests, so we drove over there. The lady at the desk was less than friendly. She wasnt interested in any kind of small talk. She needed all of my personal information (not sure why just to get the battery tested). She said that as soon as one of the technicians was finished with a vehicle he was working on, hed help us. We waited about ten minutes and he tested the battery, which tested okay. Inquiring further to see if he knew what else might be the problem, he performed a more in-depth test with his little computer thing and another technician. He said the battery, starter and battery charging ability were all good. So we left. After the very next gas stop, the car would not start. We had to replace the starter. Sure would have been nice if it would have been correctly diagnosed by Ken Towery. We could have avoided having to be towed and being off the road for four hours.

They succ at this place. I took my Monte Carlo SS up there after a carb baccfire and it was burned pretty bad, but the only thing needing replaced was the master cylinder, distributor, carb, plugs and wires and the intake manifold. I bought all the parts myself which cost 1600.00. I got a wiring harness for 484.00 from painless performance, that they tried to charge me 1400.00 for. In the end, i didnt even need the wiring harness. My car has been in the shop for two weeks, just for this problem. I looked on line and it only takes the average mechanic 3-5 days to rebuild a whole engine. They got it done yesterday and they say the intake is baccfiring and they cant figure it out. Uh, timing, vacuum leak, unsealed manifold, i mean the list goes on an Im not a mechanic. I wouldnt take my vehicle here, unless you want to wait 3 days for a tune up and 5 days for a coolant flush

I have been disappointed both times that I have been there.2 years ago I had 2 tires put on my car.They said that I also needed front brake drums which I agreed to have done.Well I had to wait 4 hours because unknown to me they had multiple drums being turned and it took that long to free up the machine. So I thought that I would give them another chance.I went on line for 4 truck tires, made an 8:30 appointment,received a confirming email that I was all set to go and when I get there low and behold they dont have the tires in stock that I requested even though the website said that they did. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OUTFIT!!!

I would highly recommend Ken Towery for any vehicle service need you have. All associates are polite, professional, and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure you are happy and understand what is needed. I am able to do a lot of vehicle work myself, but lately have chosen to use service due to time, etc. as a father of 4. Ken Towery Etown is honest, fair, and willing to do what it takes to make sure you are take care of. Ive been twice, and will continue to visit anytime I need service!

Would NOT recommend this place. Got an oil change back in April. Service was good and fast, in and out. However a month or so later my alternator went out on my car. Come to find out they didnt replace my oil cap all the way, causing it to leak out all over my alternator making it go bad. Costing me way more in the end than an oil change. Kinda my fault for going to people who really dont know what they were doing and more concerned about trying to sell me $500 tires.

Arrived promptly for my appointment at 8AM, the earliest of the day, expecting to be first in line. An hour later, my car hadnt moved from the parking lot. When I asked what was going on, they apologized and offered a couple of excuses. Mentioned a free oil change. 45 minutes later I was finally out of there, after paying for the service. I guess my definition of "appointment" is different than theirs.

I would highly recommend this place. I had a razor blade stuck in my tire and it was the only place open on a Sunday to repair it. They even did the service for free, (I had a coupon lol). Ive always gone to Ken towerys because they know their stuff and wont pressure you into fixing things that arent broke. Mary was very nice and customer friendly.

Not recommended. Stay away. Avoid unless you like high pressure attempt for you to purchase products you had no intention of buying. The service manager became upset when I refused to buy tires from him then failed to perform the service I originally requested. This business is a classic "lure you in make a high pressure, high profit sale."

Quick and professional; these guys are awesome! Got a flat on the freeway while driving to a gig down in Alabama. Ken Towery was open on Sunday, quoted me $75 for new tire; 1 hour after I got there it was done and done. Total cost maybe $76 and change. Quick service honest price and I made it to the job!! Good folks.

Do not go. Rude, under qualified staff and said do to having to go in 4 separate occasions for them to find I had a razor blades in my tire. Told me to remove tire for them to look at as well as was easier for them. Never will I go again and family wont go to employees at my work. Terrible experiences.

Wanted 40$ to put 2 tires on a rim that already had tires off the rim,unmounted, and already had new tires.. and didnt want them mounted either. was a 10 minute job... ... the people behind the counter are always smartasses ..... save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere

Good service. I dropped my truck off and picked it back up in the evening. I asked them to check the alignment and to correct it if it was needed. They said it was ok and not needed. Overall, I am satisfied and would return again for service.

Needed a same-day repair on a ball joint, and they made it happen (at a premium, of course). Front desk staff was knowledgeable. Called when vehicle was ready for pick up.
