Its been about a year since Ive done business with them. I was driving home on a Saturday morning after having worked my regular night shift. On my way home my 69 Impala brakes went completely out. It was only about 7:30 in the morning and everyone was either not open or couldnt help. Upon calling Meineke, I spoke with Bill. He told me to bring it on in. They had a full schedule but helped me anyway. Now, I had a good ways to drive and with no breaks, I would have made a perfect mark to exploit. Instead, they fixed my brakes, SHOWED me some other issues with car that may be a concern, and charged me a fair price for the work. They never pressured me to fix it. They were informative and honest. Also, they give free oil changes to vets on veterans day. If they are out to scam someone as some of the other ratings state, why would they do that? They may not be perfect but who is? Meineke is doing a great job as far as Im concerned. I can tolerate it if I get a little attitude from someone, even from a sales clerk. If their personalities are a little too scruff for the delicate snow flakes out there, shop elsewhere. I prefer a mechanic thats a little rough around the edges. The good ones usually are. Good job Meineke, Ill be bringing both of my vehicles in within the next week to be serviced.

DONT GET SCAMMED: I have been stationed at Fort Knox for 3 years, when I was deployed my wife started going to Meineke for her oil changes. Shortly after I redeployed the starter went out in my BMW. I took it to Meineke who replaced it and then gave me a list of other items that "needed replacing" including my battery that had "dangerously low cold cranking amps." I was told I needed to replace it immediately. Magically, they had the very battery I needed on hand and it was on sale. I told them no because my battery was under warranty so I took it to Walmart for them to test it. The battery was fine. It has been four months (Sept - Dec) and still tests fine. In December, my wife and I were about to PCS and my wife took her car to Meineke for one last oil change. My wife said we were leaving for MO and wanted the car to be in good shape. Again, a long list of items including the battery was going bad. Lucky for us they had our exact battery in stock and it was on sale. I told my wife to go get it check at another place and go figure, the battery was fine. I will never do business there again. If you choose to risk it, beware the scam and tell your wives to hold of on any "extremely important" extras that are conveniently in stock and on sale.

Had to get A-arms, Shocks, and struts replaced in a pinch, would not typically go to a Meineke but they seemed somewhat smart when I went to get my vehicle diagnosed. 1600$$ and a few hours later I was back on the road and traveled home (oklahoma) I pulled into my driveway and heard horrible Creaking noises and popping sounds (was not making these noises before. When I called to the Meineke nearest me they said they would not honor another stores work so I would have to pay.....Again. I called their customer service number and the first lady I talked to was pleasant and helpful; however, the Lady that called me the following day was rude, extremely disrespectful and claimed that she does not have a supervisor. So now because Mieneke failed to fix my vehicle properly I have to take 3-4 days of my time in order to take it to a 3rd party mechanic to actually fix the problem. I would not recommend Meinekes service to anyone, there work was subpar and their customer service was extremely unreasonable over the phone.

If you value your vehicle, then Meineke in Radlicff is not the place to bring your vehicle. I brought my car in last week to get a simple oil change, and before I brought my car in it had no problems. A couple hours later I picked up my car and noticed that my exhaust was making a loud noise. I knew something was wrong and It wasnt making this noise before I brought it into the shop. When I brought it back they told me it was an exhaust cuppler damage. Then they proceeded to deny having caused the problem saying I would have to pay out of my own pocket for the damages. The companies business practices of not taking care of individuals vehicles and denying causing them is a unexceptable. I hope this review helps others to stay clear of this business, since they obviously have no respect for the general publics vehicles.

I started coming here for their 20 dollar oil changes, but I will never again go back. Why? Well, the service has never been great, but the last time I went in I told the guy I wanted a basic 20 dollar oil change and when it I payed the man, he said it was around 30 bucks. Now its always been about 23 or so because of tax, but now its 30 bucks? I asked him politely why was it 10 dollars more, and he said it was because of the disposal fee and if I wanted they could give it to me in a cup and let me take it home. He said this in a very smug way, and it was not necessary because I wasnt complaining, I was simply asking. I looked at him and said, I didnt ask for that, then I paid him and left. I refuse to do business with rude people, and Im till curious why the price jumped, Im pretty sure he was lying to me.

Took my car for an oil change and a squeaky wheel and got a very long list of deficiencies, some that did not even exist, and an estimate for $990.00. The squeaky wheel was not addressed on the deficiency /remedy list. Had to replace a serpentine belt that they installed less than a year ago. Many of the charges were for labor that did not need to be done; they even bill for throwing away air filters. I took the list to a real mechanic and had all the "deficiencies" corrected for $410.00 including parts and labor. Be sure you dont pay for turn signal fluid and power steering flushes that are NEVER needed for any reason. Surprised they dont sell snake oil. Or do they? I used to trust this place-NEVER AGAIN!!

First of all, I waited at the counter for 15 minutes while no one was there just to check in. When I came to pick up my car, the desk was also empty and after waiting another 25 minutes a mechanic came out to say the desk guy who was also the manager had "run to the store". I wasnt the only person waiting. It was the most unprofessional car place I have ever been to. The mechanic came out and complained he could not get his work done for the day because the other mechanic had called off work- but every time I saw him he was talking or texting on his cell phone. I only got a transmission flush and who knows if they really even did one-- I cannot vouch for their work but their service is TERRIBLE.
